UWA Makers Club

UWA Makers is a cutting-edge group of students combining passions for design, 3D printing, electronics, microcontrollers, software, design, creative thinking and innovative problem solving for UWA.

Employers look for well-rounded individuals who embrace opportunities beyond their studies.

Computer Science Students’ Club

The Institute of Mechanical Engineering UWA Student Chapter (IMechE UWA)

The Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE) Student Branch

Student Environmental Engineers’ Club

The Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE)

The UWA Motorsport Team (UWAM)

UWA Mathematics Union

The CSSC runs social and educational events for students in the School of Computer Science and Software Engineering at UWA.

The IMechE UWA Student Chapter is a student run club representing mechanical engineering students at UWA from university to professional registration.

The UWA IEEE Student Branch is a thriving group which runs popular functions over the year for electrical and electronic engineering students as well as software and computer science students.

The objective of the UWA SEEC is to cater for the unique social, educational and vocational needs of environmental engineering and applied ocean science students.

The UWAM team work together to conceive, design, build, test & race a vehicle in the Formula SAE competitions world-wide, winning the Australian comp twice and collecting over 30 trophies for individual events.

The UWA chapter of SPE seeks to “bridge the gap between students from all academic disciplines with organisations within the oil and gas industry”. The chapter’s membership base has expanded over the last year from 150 to over 500. SPE UWA is currently supported by Chevron and AWT.

The UWA Mathematics Union is the club that represents students studying mathematics, whether it is as a major, or as part of another course.
