failed pqq? where did it all go wrong? how to start winning
DESCRIPTION
Whenever a potential client contacts us for a PQQ, bid writing or bid management project we undertake some form of due diligence. For a PQQ this may simply be a telephone conversation and determining if they have the pre-requisite registrations, certifications and experience. For a large bid management project we may need to visit a client’s premises, interview staff or undertake an audit. Failed PQQ? Where did it all go wrong?
One of the first steps of bid management is assessing previous projects.
When working with new clients we need to assess why they have previously failed PQQs or tenders.
In 10% of cases we advise that a ‘no-bid’ decision is made.
Why do PQQs and tenders fail?
A lack of time to do the best job.
Failing to meet financial
requirements
Insufficient or missing company
certifications or registrations
When given ‘no-bid’ advice think carefully. Do not waste time and money.
Consider your business and ensure that you bid when you are fully prepared to do
so.
If you require assistance, we are here to help!
