Revival: Jesus Makes All Things New!
Spring has finally sprung; and God is renewing the earth after the long winter
has passed! We will begin the month of May with our ‘Spring Revival’ here at
Faith Alive Church. Pastor Ken Deusa will be our special guest preacher for
Revival Worship times held each night @7:00pm starting Sunday May 6th and
continuing through Wed. night May 9th here in our Sanctuary. We are inviting
all of you to put this on your calendar and plan to come join us for this special
week to worship all together and seek the Lord’s presence and power through
Praise, Prayer, and the Proclamation of His Holy Word! I also encourage
each of you to invite others to come along and participate with us in these
special nights of worship and spiritual refreshment! The Sundays following
will lead us through the season of Pentecost and the scriptures that came out
of the first Church; which God created when the Holy Spirit of Jesus descend-
ed upon disciples from Jerusalem and from many other countries cultures and
people groups! God brought them all together with supernatural peace and
power to reach all kinds of folks with the one over-arching message: Jesus
died on the cross for our salvation and rose from the dead; returning to make
all things new and fill us with His own Holy Spirit to reach the whole world with
His eternal love! We hope you will join us for worship each Sunday morning
and plan to participate all together in the special nights of worship here to start
this season! We also hope and pray that more and more people of all ages
will come and be part of a Sunday School class, a Small Group for Disciple-
ship and Fellowship, and consider some of our Ministry/Mission teams as well!
The more we GIVE of ourselves to the Lord’s purposes, the more we FIND
ourselves abundantly fulfilled and renewed!
“If ANYONE is in JESUS CHRIST, he/she is a NEW CREATION; the OLD has
GONE, the NEW has COME! All this is from God, who reconciled us to Himself
through CHRIST and gave US the ministry of reconciliation; that God was
reconciling the world to Himself in CHRIST, not counting men’s sins against them;
And He has committed to US the message of reconciliation!” [ 2 Corinthians 5:17-19 ]
In Christ’s perfect love [truth and grace] -Pastor Rob Timlin
Thank You!

CHILDREN’S SUMMER FEEDING PROGRAM
Many of you ask the Micah Program, “It’s great what you do for the children
during the school year, but what about the summer?”
There is a Children’s Summer Feeding Program in Palmerton:
• St. John’s Episcopal Church, Palmerton
• Monday thru Friday, 8:30-10:00, June 18th--August 24th
• Breakfast, activities, and a take home bagged
lunch
• Volunteers are needed for the program.
Volunteers 18 and older will need clearances.
This program is not asking for money or food, just volunteers.
You may sign up for one day during the summer; once a month;
once a week; everyone is needed and welcomed.
Did you know that 71% of Parkside students and 44% of S. S. Palmer
students are enrolled in the free and reduced breakfast/lunch school program?
Micah’s Backpack helps on weekends during the school year. Now here is a program
to help during the summer.

Sharing our Faith: Evangelism thoughts
Mark 16:15-16
Still later, as the Eleven were eating supper, He
appeared and took them to task most severely for their
stubborn unbelief, refusing to believe those who had seen
Him raised up. Then He said, “Go into the world. Go
everywhere and announce the Message of God’s good
news to one and all. Whoever believes and is baptized is
saved; whoever refuses to believe is damned.
