All planned events must be scheduled through the church office to ensure there are no scheduling conflicts.
A critical question surfaced in the last Nehemiah
Project gathering. It was, "If FFCPC closed her doors,
would the community even notice it happened?" Yes,
we would certainly notice. But, would our local
community even notice?
Most churches in America are in the greatest
decline since the US was birthed. We must regain our
focus for Jesus' final command in Acts 1:7-8. We are
from the perspective of "come join us" when we need to
shift gears to the "you go" focus Jesus commanded in
the Great Commission and here in Acts. As Mark
Twain said, "Everybody wants to talk about the
weather, but nobody wants to do anything about it." The
same could be said about the decline of today's

churches. If something essential isn't done soon, we will
soon become extinct. So where do we begin? It begins
with a disciple with a willing heart and cooperative
spirit walking with God. Gaining His heart on what
must be transformed in us and our churches, so we can
thrive in Christ in our Jerusalem, Judea, and Samaria. Is
God calling you to be that disciple?

participant's ice cream was the best. Then bragging
rights will last for a year.
We need as many of our church family as possible to
come out and support our team, sample ice cream, and
vote (for ours, of course)!
TREASURER'S REPORT Our tithes and offerings for the first week of August were good. We should remember that everything we have is because of God, and he only asks for 10% back. Isn't he a very generous God? Let's all pray about our contributions and give all that we can back to the Lord.

Infant Baptism The youngest member of our church received infant baptism on July 22 during our Morning Worship service. Rylee Grace Craig was presented by their parents, Michael and Ashley Craig for infant baptism. They were joined by about 30+ friends and family for the occasion. We all wish Rylee well as she grows up, and it is our responsibility (along with Michael & Ashley) to help nurture her and teach her about Jesus.

there were no left overs. In the past the local chapter has
gleaned potatoes, tomatoes, apples, green beans, okra,
