Leah Tones, an abortionist working out of a Planned Par-enthood in Salt Lake City, Utah, recently bragged about how she stops unborn babies from screaming. "You know fetuses can't scream, right? I transect their cords first, so there's really no opportunity," boasted Tones.

But although Torres's open callousness towards human life is of course disturbing, it's really no surprise considering her history of slaughtering unborn children. Clearly, abortionists like Torres will stop at nothing to wreak havoc on unborn life. In a civilized nation, it's nothing short of sickening and must ultimately be stopped.

PAUL ALLEN GUN OWNER RESTRICTIONS

Paul Allen, co—founder of Microsoft, owner of Seahawks, and a Seattle real es-tate mogul, donated $1 million to a new initiative [1639] that would enact tough-er restrictions on the sale of semi—automatic weapons in the state of Washington. Allen, venture capitalist Nick Hanauer, and other donors, helped raise nearly $3 million for the campaign. The initiative will be on the ballot in November.

If passed, initiative 1639 would raise the minimum age to purchase semi—auto-matic rifles to 21 and create more enhanced background checks and the requirements more in keeping with the purchase of handguns. The initiative would require people to undergo firearm training before purchasing a semi—automatic firearm, with a requirement of a 10 days waiting period to purchase the firearm.


In 2014, Allen donated $500,000 to a separate initiative to expand background checks on all gun sales in the State of Washington.

more, these gun restrictions deny women the right to self defense. A restraining order is just a piece of paper. Without a gun to back it up, it will bring rape and murder to young women unable to legally defend themselves with a firearm due to unconstitutional age restriction.

In the 1950's half a dozen of us boys openly carried .22 caliber handguns here in Il-linois. It came in handy hunting and trapping. I was with a 15 year old friend of mine when he purchased a .22 caliber handgun in a hardware store without parental consent. That was in the day of constitutional rights, not being infringed on by the likes of Allen, Hanauer, Gates, Bloomberg, Soros and their ilk. We didn't have to contend with multi—millionaire treasonous tyrants and their attempt to destroy our constitutional republic.

For an asinine tweet that was nearly too easy to prove patently false, CNN's Chris Cuomo wins the Bullitzer Award of AMERICA'S 1ST FREEDOM maga-zine FOR THE June 2018 "This is a lot of bunk," Cuomo tweeted on March 27. "No one is calling for 2A repeal. Stop with the bogeyman."

Ironically, just a day earlier, former U.S. Supreme Court Justice John Paul Stevens wrote an op—ed for The New York Times titled "John Paul Stevens: Repeal The Second amendment."

KEEP U.S. OUT OF THE TTP AND FTAAP

On April 18, 2018, Secretary of Agriculture Son-ny Perdue confirmed the Trump administration's renewed interest in rejoining the Trans-Pacific Part-nership (TPP) in order to counter China. Secretary Perdue told the Senate Appropriations Committee's agriculture subcommittee, "We would welcome that arrangement with joining those other 11 countries. It would be a great unification against China," accord-ing to the Washington Examiner.

NO, Mr. Trump and Secretary Perdue: the TPP would NOT be a great unification against China; it would be a unification WITH China!

Despite not being a part of the current TPP/CPTPP negotiations, China has expressed great interest in joining the TPP. In October 2016, during a televised interview on CN-BC's Squawk Box with then-Indiana Governor and Republican Vice Presidential can-didate Mike Pence, he admitted China's interest in joining. "When I was in China last year, they were really interested in being a part of TPP. I met with the vice premier over there and he made it very clear they'd like to be a part of that deal," Pence said.

Instead of being a great unification against China, the TPP is regarded as a "stepping-stone" toward creating the larger Pacific Rim-based Free Trade Area of the Asia Pacific (FTAAP), which in addition to all of the 11 remaining TPP member countries, would also include the United States, Communist China, and Russia.

In 2013, the Peterson Institute for International Economics (PIIE) published a booklet entitled, Understanding the Trans-Pacific Partnership, coauthored by Jeffrey J. Schott, Barbara Kotschwar, and Julia Muir. On page 3 of this booklet, the authors reveal the TPP's true long-term objectives:

TPP negotiators are not only thinking about new countries joining the ongoing talks but also planning and con-structing the trade pact with a view toward future linkages with other APEC members, including and especially China. [Emphasis added.] And following a recent interview of APEC Secretariat Executive Director Alan Bollard with the Japanese-based Nikkei Asian Review about the TPP, the Nikkei reported, "The TPP will pave the way to its broader ambition of creating a free trade zone across the Asia Pacific region, dubbed the FTAAP." In fact, this is further confirmed in the preamble of the TPP. On page two of the two-page TPP preamble, the final point reads:

EXPAND their partnership by encouraging the accession of other States or separate customs territories in order to further enhance regional economic integration and create the foundation of a Free Trade Area of the Asia Pacific.

Stop the regional economic integration of the Pacific Rim, including a future unifica-tion with Communist China, by NOT rejoining the TPP or entering into an FTAAP. URGENT: Tell President Trump and Vice President Pence to Keep U.S. Out of the TPP and FTAAP. Recognizing that the TPP is a steppingstone towards the larger FTAAP, contact the president and vice president as requested to below.

Phone the White House (202-456-1111) and ask President Trump and Vice President Pence to keep the U.S. out of the TPP and also to avoid any future entry into the FTAAP.

EDITOR'S NOTE: Thankfully, I was able to get the May issue of FF&S ready for mailing in a timely manner. While

printing the issue, the copy machine stopped on me, needing a service call. The tech from an office supply came out and fixed the problem and sold me a toner cartridge, which later had to be changed before the printing was accomplished. (Total: $262.17) Then two toner cartridges had to be replaced for my H.P. Laser—Jet printer from Office Depot (Total:$228.62), plus office supplies needed replac-ing (Total $36.62).

$150 earned as election judge and some birthday money (May 9th) helped make the needed pur-chases. So far this year I have been able to contribute $340 from a small saving account. So funds have been supplied thus far. I had enough postage on hand to mail this June issue. I won't need to buy a case ( 5 REAMS) of 11" x 17" paper until July printing. The case of paper should last the rest of this year . I buy it by the case to save money . I use about a case each month, each issue. A case is about $65.00. THE LORD IS GOOD!

Several years ago a concerned subscriber asked me, "Who would carry on producing Faith & Free-dom Sentinel. if you were unable to continue." The answer to his question as of now is, "NO ONE." As of May 9, 2018 I have turned 85 years in age. I have curtailed my mailing list a couple of times and kept the subsciption rate at $20 (pretty much on a voluntary contribution basis). Although I have received no complaints, support has fallen off. I suspect because of my advancing the truth regard-ing the tyrannical and treasonous agenda of Trotskyite neo conservatives that control the Republican Party. as the Marxist progressives control the Democratic Party. Both advance a socialist agenda of a one world order. .

A DEMOCRAT WON'T SAY WHETHER OR NOT HE WANTS TO PROSECUTE GUN OWNERS

Rep. Ted Deutch, a Democrat from Florida, appeared on CNN Friday to discuss the left's biggest


bugaboo — the sale of what they insist on calling "assault weapons." In the interview, with anchor Kate Bolduan, Deutch made the oft-stated argument that "weapons of war" should not be sold to civilians. Deutch's interview came on the heels of an op-ed written by his California colleague, Eric Swalwell, who wrote that not only should Democrats push for an assault weapons ban, they should implement a national gun buyback and prosecute any who defy the order to sell their rifles back to law enforcement.

On Friday, Deutch was asked if he agreed with that plan.

"Listen, there are gun buyback programs that exist in some communities, and if people choose to turn in their guns, certainly law enforcement is working with them to do that," he said. "I think what we ought to do and what the NRA always refuses —"

"But is Swalwell going a step too far when he says that people should be held criminally responsible if they don't turn over their weapons?" Bolduan asked.

"Well, I think what's important is to stop the production of weapons of war that don't belong on our streets," he said "Just remember this, it was just about 90 years ago also on Valentine's Day that a mas-sacre in Chicago led Congress to say we can't have all these machine guns on our streets. No one has questioned that decision. Now it was another massacre on Valentine's Day here in Parkland that should prompt Congress to say we can't have all these assault weapons on our streets."

Notice that Deutch wouldn't say whether or not he supported the idea of prosecuting gun owners who refused to cooperate with a buyback program. Likely, he waffled because he didn't want to anger flanks on either the left or the right, but we should be disturbed by any lawmaker who thinks that this kind of Second Amendment violation would result in anything less than chaos and bloodshed. You don't have to be "pro-gun" to believe this; you just have to have some semblance of common sense.

It is the hallmark of the Democratic Party to identify a problem and then make it ten times worse through the passage of progressive legislation. This is exactly what they aim to do when it comes to gun control. Leaving millions of Americans as sitting ducks in gun-free zones, preventing endangered citizens from arming themselves, and jailing people who innocently cross state lines where the rules are completely different. Now they want to go the extra mile and spark a situation that would put both American civilians and law enforcement personnel in mortal danger. All in the name of reducing vio-lence?
