Empowered by a series of key features, Suspended Theater® attraction system is the perfect vessel for immersive storytelling. Exuding raw power as it takes riders soaring across epic adventures, this unparalleled product delivers the unique sensation of flight in a whole new way.

Guests enter what appears to be a standard widescreen theater. A pre-show that builds anticipation is delivered here. When the main show begins, the ceiling dramatically peels away, and guests are swiftly but elegantly lifted up and placed in front of a giant, compound curved screen. This exciting moment utilizes the element of surprise to usher guests into the story.

The system’s controlled movements are perfectly synchronized with the inspiring media, engrossing riders in the narrative spectacle no matter where they look. Whether flying across gorgeous real-life landscapes or imaginative dreamscapes, the journey is seamless – the story, uninterrupted. Once liftoff occurs, there is only pure, uninhibited flight.

EXCLUSIVE THEATER REVEAL

The show begins in a lower, smaller-scale theater with rear projection. The content on this smaller-scale screen then seamlessly transitions to the large-scale media screen just as the theater seats physically rise into the air, complimenting the reveal’s wow-factor with visceral movement and excitement. This signature theater reveal of the Suspended Theater® is exclusive to this Falcon’s product.

2 DEGREES OF FREEDOM (DOF)

Employing pitch and heave offers total freedom to synchronize the ride system with the on-screen action.

LARGE-SCALE 3D MEDIA

The use of unique media production techniques enables guests to see 3D objects throughout their wide vista, which makes it appear as if said objects are extending from the large-scale 3D stereoscopic media screen and soaring through the theater’s space. Standard in Gold and Platinum.

INTEGRATED SHOW FX

Sensory special effects (FX) including strobe light, water spritz, and wind dramatically enhance the impact of the media content, immersing the viewer even more into the adventure.

ADDITIONAL SHOW FX

Optional sensory effects (FX) including scent and seat transducers (“buttkickers”) can add even more to the guest experience.

MULTI-PROJECTOR AUTO-ALIGNMENT SYSTEM

The single push button auto-alignment procedure analyzes the position and focus of each projector relative to each other and makes small adjustments to ensure the media remains as crisp and clear as the first day of operation.

MULTI CHANNEL AUDIO ZONING

The Suspended Theater® breaks up the audio system into circular rings with discrete channel speakers allowing the music and sound effects to float throughout the space alongside the imagery.
