CHANGE YOUR WORLD
Kristen Ran 26 Races To Raise Awareness & Support For Cancer“Three weeks after my 30th birthday, I heard 3 words that changed my life
forever: YOU HAVE CANCER. Melanoma struck during the prime of my life
and for the next 2 years I struggled to feel normal. But, then I got involved
with StupidCancer.org and started meeting fellow survivors, many of them
runners. So, in 2013 I challenged myself to 12 races. And, in 2014 I
accomplished my 14-race goal. Running has taught me I am strong and
how to push myself physically, mentally & emotionally to reach my goals.”
Making A HUGE Difference In Your Hometown
Terry Shines Strong for Our Troops
Terry is president of the Oregon Blue Star Mothers
who tirelessly support the military, their families and
our veterans. Combining her passion for fitness and
caring for military families, she says, “We send care
packages to the troops and raise funds with events
like our Run for the Fallen 5K.” Terry and her Blue Star
Mothers chapter are currently busy building a memo-
rial refuge at the Willamette National Cemetery.
