Page 3: Fall 2011 & Winter 2012 Recreation Guide

As we say good bye to summer and gear up for another season, rec-reation staff have been busy planning a variety of programs, events and activities to keep you and your family engaged this season. To allow you the opportunity to plan your busy schedule, we have com-bined our Fall and Winter editions. This guide will cover September 2011 through to March 2012. New programs may be added as de-mand and opportunities arise. Watch for our program supplements available at the Community Centre and online in January. In the spring we announced the launch of our recreation software system. This has been a huge success with over 21% of our regis-trations now happening on-line. If you haven’t checked it out yet, visit www.peachland.ca and click on the “Click Here for Recreation Programs”. On this system you can register for programs, download a schedule to your smart phone, view what is happening in our parks and facilities and so much more. Better yet – online you are first in line and can register at your own convenience and from the comfort of your own home!
