Inside you will find a synopsis of each of our

community groups that are meeting during this

time. I trust that you will find a group that

accommodates your schedule, your personal and

your spiritual interests. If you have further

questions about any of the groups please visit

with the group leader.

Faith Community Groups are our way of creating

kingdom community and accomplishing the vision

of Winona Faith Church. Our goal is that every

person will step out in faith and make a commit-

ment to sign up for one or more groups.

Saturday Evenings for 7 weeks

Description of Group:

Belief = Behavior will be an interactive discus-

sion surrounding the topics presented in the

weekly WFC sermon series followed by a time

of fellowship.

Winhaven Community Group

Type of Group:

Bible Study and Discussion

Every Other Wednesday

Description of Group:

The Winhaven community group is a bible

based study and discussion open to residents

of the Winhaven apartment complex and an-

yone else who would like to come.

Lifted Hearts Faith Community Group

Description of Group:

Lifted Hearts group always enjoys a time of fel-

lowship joined with a variety of service based

volunteer opportunities as well as some video

based teaching series’

Hebrews Study

Description of Group:

The Hebrews Bible Study is a women’s only

group using a DVD curriculum for in depth study

and discussion about the book of Hebrews.

WFC Church Sanctuary

Description of Group:

Six week small group study about our calling to follow

Christ towards greater faith, power-filled deeds, and a

new way of knowing God. You will discover how to

discern God's call, transcend fear, risk faith, manage

failure, and trust God.

Description of Group:

The House of Prayer group prays for the weekly

needs of the church body including individual

needs, corporate needs as well as the needs of

our community.

Let us consider how we can stir up one an-

other to love. Let us help one another to

do good works. Let us not give up meeting

together. Some are in the habit of doing

this. Instead, let us cheer each other up

with words of hope. Let us do it all the

more as you see the day coming when

Christ will return.
