    years of being a driverof achieving that goal,shaping the Clemson

    academic experience intoone that attracts remark-able students to enroll andengages them with topprofessors and communityleaders.

    SUMMERSTORIEfteen Scholars visited Bhutan in May to meetith government and environmental leaders, fol-wing a spring course on wildlife preservation andatural resource management with Clemson Director for Parks Dr. Bob Powell. Another nine studied abroad in South Africa

    June and July after a spring course on African history and culture with history professor Dr. James Burns. Later in theummer, Scholars pursued service, research, and internships around the world.

    NSP Honors, NSP build towards 2016 In collaboration with UniversityHousing, the Calhoun Honors Collegeand the NSP are helping build the newCore Campus project.

    For Honors students, this meansdouble the number of beds currentlyavailable in the Holmes Hall Living-Learning Community (including single-room options for upperclassmen) and

    triple the meeting and study space in

    the current Honors Center. For the NSP, we will have more thtwice the space that we long ago outgrew in Brackett Hall. Below are renderings of the overalCampus project and a peek inside. Fdesign is subject to change before CoCampus opens in fall 2016.
