Invitation to Attend

On behalf of the American Concrete Institute (ACI), the Eastern Pennsylvania and Delaware Chapter – ACI, and the Eastern Pennsylvania and Delaware Chapter Convention Planning Committee, we invite you to join us at The Concrete Convention and Exposition, October 23-27, 2016, in Philadelphia, PA. The convention will be held at the Philadelphia Marriott Downtown.

At the ACI Convention, you will have the opportunity to participate in the development of industry codes and standards, network with many of the world’s leading concrete professionals, and learn about the latest in concrete technology while fulfilling your continuing education requirements.

We have created an educational and technical program that will cover several angles of the convention theme, “Revolutionary Concrete.” Convention highlights include the Student Mortar Workability Competition, the Opening Session and Reception, the International Lunch, Contractors’ Day sessions and lunch, and the Concrete Mixer at the National Constitution Center.

We are thrilled to have the opportunity to bring the convention to Philadelphia, and look forward to your participation in this fall’s convention.

About the ACI ConventionThe ACI Convention is dedicated to bringing together the leaders in the concrete industry. These individuals work to improve the design, construction, maintenance, and repair of concrete projects. Conventions provide a forum for networking and education and an opportunity to provide input on the concrete industry’s codes, specifications, and guides.

Committees meet to develop the standards, reports, and other documents necessary to keep up with the ever-changing world of concrete technology. Committee meetings are open to all registered convention attendees.

Technical and educational sessions provide attendees with the latest research, case studies, best practices, and the opportunity to earn Professional Development Hours (PDHs) and/or Continuing Education Units (CEUs).

Additionally, the ACI Convention offers numerous networking events where you can expect to meet with many of the industry’s top engineers, architects, contractors, educators, manufacturers, and material representatives from around the world.
