We are currently undergoing a massive remodel to create a pediatric center that provides specialized and focused care for ALL of our 6,000 patients ages 0-19 years.

Do you remember when you were a kid? You always wanted to be older; you just couldn’t wait until you were a big kid. “I’m 5 and a ½”, and that ½ was very important. When you were a teen, you certainly didn’t want to be around younger kids. Hence, having our Teen Clinic, as completely separate from our pediatric office, was born.

After several years of separate areas and an intensive clinical review, we came to see that the best experience for all of our pediatric patients would be to create a Full Service Pediatric Center. Separate check in and waiting rooms, each designed to appeal to that particular age group,

but connected clinical spaces for shorter wait times and optimized patient/doctor appointment. Kids will be happy and parents even happier!

YOUR special touch is needed to furnish and turn the child waiting room into an adorable play area with a literacy corner, combining the vital elements of health and education for our young children. Be an integral part of something brand new and growing! Become part of the family and watch our children grow. Donate now to help furnish our baby

Isn’t it fun to watch a child grow? Those milestones, those events, those exciting times? Every child needs special care to thrive. C.A.M.P. VCH needs YOUR special care, YOUR special touch. Find out how on the next page.

Music, food and friends – What more could you ask? Meet new friends, get an exclusive behind the scenes tour of VCH and learn from patients like Board Member Pam Richardson, the incredible way that VCH has impacted, if not literally, saved their lives!

Come see for yourself and JOIN US on November 1, 2018, for the next Cocktails at the Clinic event.

Victim of Torture in Africa comes to VCH for Care and UnderstandingSamuel, fleeing violence and political instability in Somalia,

came to the United States as a refugee. The victim of beatings and torture, he came to VCH seeking help for a wound that had not healed. Dr. Vail and our staff were able to treat a massive infection in time to stave off an almost certain amputation. They stabilized his injuries and worked to get Samuel transferred to County USC for surgery. Working closely together, our staff and the staff at County USC saved this man from suffering and saved his limb. Samuel is back working and is doing well in his new home.

We strive for that special touch in all that we do — Samuel received that and more from our Dr. Vail and our staff here at VCH.

Did you come to our Inaugural Cocktails at the Clinic on Wednesday, August 22? Our guests went on a tour of the facility and were wowed. “This place is amazing! I had no idea!” Pat Georgian. “It was a great party, but the tour was the best part.” John Lockhart.
