Class Operation Plan for Fall Semester 2021
Class Operation Plan 1. September 1st ~ 30th : Online Class 2. October 1st ~ : Class operated according to the level of
social distancing
‘Limited in-person class’ is possible within the scope of compliance with the government quarantine guidelines if in-person class is necessary for course completion.
Other Information 1. Students should be immediately notified of any change in
the course operation method. (via eTL Notice Board, etc.) 2. Course operation method (in-person/Online class, etc.)
must be announced in the course syllabus.
Social Distancing Measures Level
Under Level 2 Level 3 Level 4
In-person classes ae able to be conducted only for classes with less than 100 students.
In-person classes are able to be conducted only for classes with less than 50 students.
All classes will turn online. *Limited in-person class is possible.

SNU Academic Policies and Procedures against COVID-19 Infection
Academic calendar on the link is not up to date, however please refer to the basic academic policy for COVID-19- affected students.
Students affected by COVID-19 must not enter the campus and attend any class for the legitimate period. Class absences of these students will be acknowledged for attendance with proof documentation*.
Any student who has suspected symptoms can also excuse their class absences with proof documentation* under the approval of the institution or instructor that offers the course.
* Proof documentation Includes medical certificate, documents that certifies on the date of entry, etc., which must be submitted to the instructor of that courses.

All entrants must be in self-quarantine by 12:00 p.m. on the 14th day from the date of entry.

Attendance Acknowledgment Criteria of COVID-19 Vaccination
• In accordance with the 3rd quarter vaccination plan for residents aged 18 to 49, attendance acknowledgment criteria regarding COVID-19 vaccination is set as follows.
More updates are posted on the notice board of SNU portal site by SNU Division of Education Affairs.

Attendance Acknowledgment Request Form, Medical certificate
Class Operation Provide hybrid(Face-to-Face + Untact) class or alternative class
Test Reassign the test date for vaccinated students or provided an alternative test

Check1: Check whether the lecture is English-based or not(Only Korean-based lecture is not recommendable for non-native, especially freshmen).
Check2: Use the “Advanced Search” to see lectures delivered English and “Course Recommendation” to find out the course evaluation score.
