PLANNING A PRESENTATION

A Guide to Presentation Credits

C&FS EAP utilizes a credit system that will allow you to flexibly manage your presentation needs. C&FS EAP offers four (4) Presentation Credits per contract year.* Each Employee Enrichment Seminar utilizes one (1) Presentation Credit. Other presentation credit utilizations will vary. Please see presentation description or speak with an EAP staff member for additional information.

*If you organization has a custom contract, please call EAP with any questions on available presentation credits.

Compliance and Ethics Training Offerings

C&FS EAP distinguishes Employee Enrichment Seminars from Compliance and Ethics Trainings. Employee Enrichment seminars will continue to focus on general interests, employee education and workplace skill build-ing. Compliance trainings focus on workplace guidance around policy, procedures and regulations, and Ethics Trainings promote awareness of ethical practices in the workplace. Compliance and Ethics trainings may be cus-tomized to an organization’s specific policies and proce-dures.

Our Compliance and Ethics Trainings are largely designed to prevent problems before they start and include topics such as LGBTQ Cultural Competency training, Reasonable Suspicion, and a range of safety-related trainings.

Please note: EAP is not providing Sexual Harassment training at this time . Our Senior Counseling staff are available for consultation to discuss the specific needs of your organization at any time. We would be happy to share tools and community resources to best serve your organization. •

Presentations Platform Options

presentation and will provide the virtual platform.

person trainings on-site at your facilities. We will co-

ordinate scheduling and communicate necessary safety

Your Brain on the Pandemic: From Stress to Focus

NEW PRESENTATION

Changes in our personal and professional lives has brought us to a different place than we were 18 months ago. This is an opportunity to bring awareness to our lives, recognize stressors, successes and where we see ourselves going for-ward. Let’s understand WHY our brain does what it does and HOW we can re-program it to work for us!

Self Care: Managing Stress Proac-tively

MOST REQUESTED

In our daily lives, stress can feel unmanageable and when you add in crisis events, it can be difficult to cope. This workshop will focus on how stress affects your body, recog-nizing triggers and warning signs of your stress, and proac-tively developing a self care plan.

Yoga for Stress Management

Finding balance through the workday can be challenging. Emails come in, phones are ringing and are demands for your attention. While we can’t always eliminate the stress involved with work, we can practice self-care. In this semi-nar, you will learn how to take a “Yoga Breaks” a few minutes of breathing and movement during the day to bal-ance your body, clear your mind, and boost your energy.

Mindfulness and Meditation

Mindfulness and meditation aren’t just for yogis anymore. Modern research points to the benefits of these two differ-ent practices for everyone, including: an increase in focus, improved memory, improved social skills and relationships, and greater flexibility and openness to everyday experi-ence. This seminar will introduce you to the defining char-acteristics of both practices and help you understand how you can use both to achieve greater health and wellbeing.

Use of Breath for Stress Reduction

Explore the connection between the patterns of your breath and stress, tension, pain or anxiety. Learn tools to nourish relaxation, cultivate greater awareness and allow for change. This workshop focuses on breathing mechanics, therapeutic breath and movement exercises.

Calming the Inner Critic and Achieving Realistic Goals

Are you someone that focuses on what you haven't done rather than what you have done? We're all being challenged to fill multiple roles while socially distancing and keeping our families safe. This presentation will allow us to relax our in-ner critic while still setting realistic goals for ourselves and our family during this time.

Nutrition and Stress Management

Studies show there are strong links between stress and nutri-tion. Often times, stress causes us to overeat or skip meals, creating a vicious cycle of unhealthy behaviors. In order to break the cycle, this seminar will help employees understand the following: what causes stress and how to recognize it; the short and long-term effects of stress; recognizing the signs of emotional eating; techniques to eat more mindfully; and foods that help tame stress.

The Power Hour: Mental Wellness and Sleep

Are you looking for a way to help your employees manage stress and maintain good energy throughout the day? Then it is time to ask them about how well they sleep. Sleep is an essential key to mental health and well-being. In this seminar your group will learn the connection between sleep and their physical, mental and emotional health, as well as techniques for managing daily stress that can result in less sleep at night

STRESS REDUCTION

Stress affects performance both in and out of the workplace.

These seminars can help participants proactively decrease and
