The purpose of the First Timers’ Bill of Rights is to make all First Timers feel important and appreciated and to acknowledge First Timers as an integral part of Conferences and to Toastmasters International. We want First Timers to feel welcome and comfortable when getting involved in Conference activities and meeting other members.

First timers shall be given special identifi cation (First Timer indicated on their name badges) to be worn at all meetings and functions of the Conference.

First Timers shall be recognized by other members as having special privileges and shall be treated accordingly.

First Timers shall have the right and opportunity to introduce themselves to, and visit with, all District Offi cers, the Conference Chair, and guest speakers. The privileges of the First Timers’ Bill of Rights come with these responsibilities;

Wear your Name Tag at all times or forfeit your rights.

… Be on time for all meetings.… Observe Conference rules and parliamentary process.… Introduce yourself to others and expand your network.… Sit with different people at each meeting event and meal function.… Get involved, ask questions, participate in meeting discussions, and attend sessions and workshops.… Report Conference activities when back at your home club.… Return to the next Conference.

The purpose of the First Timers’ Bill of Rights is to make all First Timers feel important and appreciated and to acknowledge First Timers as an integral part of Conferences and to Toastmasters International. We want First Timers to feel welcome and comfortable when getting involved in Conference activities and meeting other members.

First timers shall be given special identifi cation (First Timer indicated on their name badges) to be worn at all meetings and functions of the Conference.

First Timers shall be recognized by other members as having special privileges and shall be treated accordingly.

First Timers shall have the right and opportunity to introduce themselves to, and visit with, all District Offi cers, the Conference Chair, and guest speakers. The privileges of the First Timers’ Bill of Rights come with these responsibilities;

Wear your Name Tag at all times or forfeit your rights.

… Be on time for all meetings.… Observe Conference rules and parliamentary process.… Introduce yourself to others and expand your network.… Sit with different people at each meeting event and meal function.… Get involved, ask questions, participate in meeting discussions, and attend sessions and workshops.… Report Conference activities when back at your home club.… Return to the next Conference.
