Anytime is a good time to visit Fairhope, but the first weekend in
October brings together much of what makes Fairhope special: arts, reading and writing, music, and the enjoyment of our beautiful natural environment. Come enjoy several jam-packed days of festivals and fun Oct. 4-7, with the Grand Festival of Arts
and Books, Alabama Coastal BirdFest, First Friday Artwalk 6-8pm on Oct. 5th, the Mullet Run race and fun-walk, and a concert by the Baldwin Pops. Most of the events are free with something for all ages to enjoy! The Grand Festival of Arts & Books brings together more than 100 artists from around the Southeast with dozens of well-known authors, poets, and
storytellers. The BirdFest Expo features booths and exhibits and live raptors, touch tanks and hands-on fun for all ages. Add to that the excitement of the Saturday morning Mullet Run and the beauty of live music from the Baldwin Pops, and it is truly THE weekend to be in Fairhope!
