1,500 men and women in ministry LEAVE the ministry, each and every month, due to burnout. This includes missionaries, teachers, pastors, youth ministers, clergy of all types... and it is sad. If the CDC were covering this, it would be termed as an epidemic. 1,500 of those called into the ministry, ordained by God to do His work ... leave because the pressure is too much and they have no way to get rest... They Burn Out.

Until Now ...La Siesta ... (the rest) is a place for rest. A place where those in ministry can get away in a safe and private environment and let their hair down ... 10 days of tranquility and peace ... Allowing them time alone with God to re-energize, revitalize, recommit to their passion and revisit the deep passion that once burned inside for their God and His work.

Arizona - Year Round Sunshine! What better place to offer such a retreat!?! Picture if you will, self contained cabins in a secluded and private setting. Surrounded by beautiful flower gardens with walking paths throughout the grounds. Tennis courts, heated pool, jacuzzi, basketball court, shuffleboard, horseshoes, darts, pool table, read-ing and music library, craft room, workout room, table tennis, bbq pit with picnic tables, a quiet lounge, dining hall for gathering, commercial kitchen serving homestyle meals daily, and close to hiking trails and a golf course. Along with a caring staff that are there when needed.

All of this will be provided with expenses paid, to make it possible for those struggling to still get the rest they need and so deserve.

To make this possible, we need your help!

This property is well priced and turnkey ready to launch this work, but we need your help in making that possible. Your TAX DEDUCT-IBLE donation is so appreciated and so needed. If we all do our small part, the magnitude of the joint effort will be great and will impact those in ministry across the entire nation. Please help us today!

BIZ COACHBALANCING WORK AND FAMILY ...

It is never easy to figure out where that line is. When have we spent too much time at work and when have we become compacent with work because our hearts and minds are at home with our spouse and children.

While discipline is necessary, it is also crucial to maintain a healthy family life and a profit-able business that thrives in todays compete-tive marketplace. We must be available to our customers, but we also need to be avail-able to those depending on us at home too. What good is money is there is no one we love to share it with. It then loses it’s value because we have chosen the value of money over the value of people.

If you work for soomeone else, it is not too hard to figure out when it is work time and when it is time to go home. Your hours are usually set for you, and the requirements are quite clear. However, when you own the business and no one tells you what to do and when to do it. it becomes on of those grey areas that you must decide for yourself.

My personal philosophy is routines matter - organization and planning matter - so if you have handled your routine tasks, made sure those are off the plate. You have set up everything needed to ensure you have a business still in operation for the next month - there is nothing wrong with taking a break for that soccer game or picnic on Friday.

If we find our Passion, we will Passionately Pursue Life!

By rewarding yourself with some time away here and there, you stay happier, so you will pass that on to those you work with and to those you work for. Have some fun, take some time, but do not put off what needs done, just because you do not feel up to it. Self discipline is so important whether you work for someone else or for yourself. Someone is relying on you to do your part, so they can do their part too... so, don’t let them down.

Last but not least ... let those in your family and friendship circle know that you enjoy time with them. It is so important to let those we care about know that we do. This is more import-ant that any other task in life, as we just do not know what tomorrow holds.

Enjoy life! Enjoy what you do! and Enjoy one another !!!

The Smart Playbook by Suzanne Wind

When and how did your company form? My company was formed in February 2014 with the launch of The SMART Playbook. This book was a labor of love that developed over years with the help of my husband and three children.

The Story behind The SMART Playbook:As a mom of three kids, it quickly became apparent that my kids were not born with the ability to act politely. This onus is on me (and my husband) as their parents to teach them how to behave in society. But schedules are busy- for myself and my kids. Learning social skills, while vital, is not exactly on my kids’ top list of prior-ities. I often felt overwhelmed- how do I teach my kids all those unwritten rules that make such a BIG differ-ence in raising happy and confident children?

I became a mom on a mission to create a fun, practical and effective tool for developing manners and social skills. I wanted to create a modern engaging way to teach old-fashioned life skills to a new generation and make a plan where your child works independently to learn new skills and earn rewards.

As a family, we spent countless hours researching life skills to tackle, developing games and challenges, draw-ing stick figures, testing out jokes – all to find a relevant and effective game plan. It took years to develop it, but we finally created an activity book that my kids would use, and that would really have an improvement in their current and future lives. CONTINUES ON PAGE 16

Stress ... It is not a Silent Killer

Stress can really mess up relationships. When we are in the midst of a stressful situation we will either reach out or lash out. When we reach out, we can usually find those around us who will support us and help us by giving us a clearer perspective on the situation, as they can see it differently from a distance. When we lash out, hurt those around us and damage the relationship we have with others, out of our hurt and frustrations. At a time when we need others the most, we can easily push them away and make them feel unwanted and insignifcant. This is not what we intend to do, but this is what we often do.

When stressed it is best to try to step back, breathe deep, and look at who is in our corner. Who is there to show us support and to lend a hand if and when they can. Who cares in every way and not just in word only. It is easy for people to say they care, but their actions are what shows the authenticity of those claims. Choose to hang with those who are there in the tough times as well as the good times, and then show them how much you appreciate their care, by being gentle and appreciative, even when you are stressed and in pain, Let them know that eventhough you are going through a rough time, that you value their friendship and then listen to what they have to say - ask for them to interject positive reinforcements into your life and try to hear their

heart.

When we do this, we enrich the bond that is already there and we gain valuable insight that we would never have on our own. This is one of the many reasons that close friendships are so important, is because thru those stress-ful moments in life, when nothing seems ot make sense, a true friend will take all of the nonsense and turn it into common sense for us, if we will just listen.

Do not let stress become even more stressful by removing valuable people from your life in those times when you want to scream. This is when you need them the most and this is when they are probably using great caution so they do not hurt you with their words ... Listen to those words and see what you can gain from them.

Great friends are

Great stress relievers !!!

Dragons are magical. Some are ferocious, some are friendly, and some are silly, but whatever kind of dragon it is, we love reading about them and their in-credible adventures. Nickerbacher is a very special dragon. He wants to make his family proud of him, but he doesn’t want to be like all the other dragons. He’s afraid to tell his papa that there are enough dragons to guard princess-es. What Nickerbacher wants more than anything in the world is to make peo-ple happy. He wants to be a comedian who makes people laugh, but his papa doesn’t seems to understand. Even though his friends Princess Gwendolyn and Prince Happenstance think there’s something strange about a dragon who doesn’t want to guard princesses, they support his dream. Will Nickerbacher abide by his dragonly duty or follow his dream of being a stand-up comedian?

Jeremiah 29:11

“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

We have a good God that loves us and cares about our today and our tomorrow. He wishes us to pros-per physically, emotionally, financially, relationally... in every way He wants us to have what we need to be healthy and happy in life.

Hard times come, and hard times go but He will never leave you. He is always by your side to guard you and guide you and to supply what you need to carry on... Trust Him... and tell Him what you have need of. He will be delighted to help you, because you are His child and He loves you.

STAR OF THE MONTHcontinued from page 5...

What is your mission statement? Our mission is to help parents, educators and caretakers teach children valuable social skills and manners in a modern engaging game-format. Fun for kids. Easy for parents. Social Skills the SMART way!

Please tell us a little about your family. I have been happily married for almost 15 years and we have three beautiful children ages 12, 10 and 5. Our greatest wish is that our kids grow up to be confident and caring individuals, and that they follow their dreams and stay committed. We also want them to live everyday by the golden rule, ‘Do unto others as you would have others do unto you.’ They are wonderful kids and we can’t wait to see them discover their true potential!

What were your top accomplishments of 2014?• Honored and humbled to be recog-nized with ten prestigious awards for the book.• Reaching parents, educators and care-takers with an important message to help our young tech-savvy generation develop face-face social skills and manners. • Building our distribution network.• Building awareness through great press coverage.

What are your goals for 2015?• Increase distribution in bookstores and specialty stores.• Add more ‘Play it SMART’ products.• Schedule speaking tours to encourage parents, educators and caretakers to support our mission.

What was the hardest part in launching your product and/or company? As an entrepreneur you face many challenges but these particular ones stand out:

1. This year was all about wearing many hats and conquering new challenges – social media, interviews, sales distribution and more. A time of stepping outside my comfort zone on a daily basis.2. Establishing credibility for our product in new markets. Customers are much more attracted to your product and willing to give it a try once you have testimonials and awards. Today we are proud to have recognition from parents and educators and honored with ten awards.3. Finding the time and energy to balance work and take care of three children.

What is your one piece of advice for new entrepre-neurs?Always appreciate the value of hard work and living life with grace and character. Stay committed and solution-oriented throughout the entire process. And remember to make decisions with character, integrity, empathy and confidence!

Where do you see yourself in 5 years? As an established author with a lot of different ‘Play it SMART’ products.

What is your next big adventure? As an entrepreneur each day is a big adventure. I never know what opportunity that I will stumble upon. We are excited to continue our mission around the world.

What would be your dream vacation?I would love to bring my family on a European adven-ture trip. I love everything about Europe – the culture, food, architecture and more. I would love to visit old castles, swim in the Mediterranean, wine-tasting, hik-ing, visiting museum, shopping and more in at least ten different European cities.

What is your favorite hobby?I enjoy cooking as a family. We pick a menu of the night and then we all pitch in and cook different dishes.

How do you relax?During the day, relaxing walks and hikes through nature. In the evenings with a glass of red wine with family and friends!

Family Review & Award Center

Family Review Center launched in Washington State in 2000. At that time reviews and awards were just starting to gain a foothold in the online world. You did not find bloggers on every corner offering them, and you did not find many avenues to help promote a new product free of charge. Little did we know back then what it would grow into. I see all of the growth as a positive thing for those who are entering the marketplace with their new ideas and products. There are now so many ways to share what you have to offer, with so many different audiences available to reach. Usually two businesses will have some overlap in those they serve, but most will be unique, so the more places one shares their products, the more exposure they will receive. And if you want growth in your business and sales, this is vitally important.

Family Review and Award Center offers a broad array of services for our clients, both free and paid alike. We love what we do and we do what we love, so we are good at it. From free reviews, to a full awards program, which is free but we do charge for the graphics and advertising packages that go with them. We also offer coaching on a small scale, to those we work with on a free and as needed basis.

We are all about seeing our clients succeed and sharing great products we find with those who rely on us to keep them in the know. That is what keeps us going, is the curiosity and needs of those who visit our site, follow us in social media, and read our magazine. They want to know what new products are worth their time and money and they know that we will not post a review unless we think they will like the product. We do not post negative product reviews because we figure there are enough places to go for those - we share only prod-ucts that pass our test of quality and pricing.

We are a company that likes to help others. If this was just about the numbers game, we would have gotten out of it when the economy was so bad and times were slow because no one had the money to spend on advertis-ing etc. This is a passion and an avenue where we can be of help, to help others succeed and that is where the payoff is found for us and that is our biggest reward. When I see one of those we reviewed in the prelaunch stage, walk out on TV for Shark Tank or QVC, HSN or the likes, or I see their product hit the shelf at Walmart or Target ... I smile a proud smile, much like I’ve done with my own children as I’ve watched them succeed. I am here, cheering them on! I want to see them go far and I take great pleasure in it when I see they surpass what they ever expected or dreamed. And when they drop me a note as they progress, thanking me and shar-ing their successes with me - I LOVE IT! Who could ask for more? I am truly blessed as I reach out to bless others.

Thank you for being a part of the “Family Review Family!” We love having you here and we look forward to serving you for many years to come. We are setting out to lauch some new and exciting campaigns to change things up a bit and make it even better.. so stay tuned and watch for the announcements. It is going to get cra-zy but it is going to be AWESOME!! And you all will be able to be a part of it. Thanks again and God Bless.
