One more step along the world I go,one more step along the world I go;

from the old things to the newkeep me traveling along with you:

And it's from the old I travel to the new;keep me traveling along with you.

Round the corner of the world I turn,more and more about the world I learn;

all the new things that I seeyou'll be looking at along with me:


As I travel through the bad and good,keep me traveling the way I should;

where I see no way to goyou'll be telling me the way, I know:


For all the times when wemake you feel sad

For all the times when we lie and cheat


For all the times when we are bad-tempered and grumpy


For all the times when we are rude or naughty


For all the times when we know we are doing wrong


For all the times when we are selfish or unkind


For all the wrong things we do

Our reading this morning is from St Luke

Our God is a great big God.Our God is a great big God.Our God is a great big God.

And He holds us in His hands.

He's higher than a skyscraper.He's deeper than a submarine.He's wider than the universe.

And beyond my wildest dreams

And He's known me and He's loved me

since before the world began.How wonderful to be a part

of God's amazing plan!

Prayers

What a Friend we have in Jesus, all our sins and griefs to bear!

What a privilege to carry everything to God in prayer!

O what peace we often forfeit, O what needless pain we bear,

All because we do not carry everything to God in prayer.

Have we trials and temptations? Is there trouble anywhere?

We should never be discouraged; take it to the Lord in prayer.

Can we find a friend so faithful who will all our sorrows share?

Jesus knows our every weakness; take it to the Lord in prayer.

Are we weak and heavy laden, cumbered with a load of care?

Precious Savior, still our refuge, take it to the Lord in prayer.

Do your friends despise, forsake you? Take it to the Lord in prayer!

In His arms He’ll take and shield you; you will find a solace there.

Blessed Savior, Thou hast promised Thou wilt all our burdens bearMay we ever, Lord, be bringing

all to Thee in earnest prayer.Soon in glory bright unclouded there will be no need for prayer

Rapture, praise and endless worship will be our sweet portion there.

Let us go and journey in the world to love and serve our Lord.
