Wild Worlds FREEThis season sees the return of the Herbert'sfantastic FREE summer programme for families.Wild Worlds combines a fantastic play installationwith imaginative family workshops, offeringexciting places to explore and unique items tocreate.

Travel deep under the sea, explore the forestshadows or hide in the craters of a distant planet.

Summer Exhibition for under 8s FREE22 July – 11 SeptemberOur interactive installation is open everyday to explore andtransform. This richly designed space offers all sorts of playfulpossibilities to stretch the imagination of younger children andthe adults brave enough to join them.

Wild Worlds will evolve from week to week, and you can helpdecide how it changes through Saturday Story Sessions. Join usto invent the new worlds and find connections, hints and cluesthroughout the Herbert's galleries. Check www.theherbert.org for times.

Precious Treasures Trail FREE27 & 28 July, 31 August & 1 SeptemberDrop in anytime between 10.30am – 12.30pm & 1.30pm – 3.30pmPick up an ancient map and follow the clues to uncover aprecious treasure. Once you complete your quest return to theactivity room to make a special box to keep it safe.

Creative Workshops Drop in sessions FREE2 – 25 August, Tuesdays – Thursdays 10.30am – 12.30pm & 1.30pm – 3.30pmInspired by the magical Wild Worlds exhibition, the themes ofclouds, under the sea, forest and space will ensure families willget creative with making and doing! Booking is not required but at busy times you may be askedto wait.
