What’s Going On FBC On April 30th, 11:00am - 12pm, we had recy-cling, trash and organic training in the gym. This event was orga-nized by Sheila

Ahlbrand. About 150 people attended this event. We watched a video, played games and ate food—these were activities to help us understand about, recycling, trash and organic.

FBC Women from both the English lan-guage service and the Karen service had cake baking training on May 20. 11 wom-en participated in this event. We thank all volunteers who brought ingredi-ents and materials and also volunteered for training. We plan to have another baking training again.

On Sunday, May 21, we welcomed back and honored our Mis-sion team from Dawei Myiek. They had been in Dawei Myiek for the whole month of April.

They were pleased to work with all leaders, teachers and students. FBC hopes to repeat this in future years.

We also celebrated Sheila Ahlbrand graduation from Theological Semi-nary on May 21 between 11:00am - 12:00pm. Sheila graduated May 7th. We are blessed by her service to God. May peace be with her for her whole life.

May 14th, the Karen Language Service cele-brated Mothers’ Day during the worship service. Mothers are so important in our congregation. Karen Service mother prayer group always partici-

pate in 12 and 24 hours prayers every month. We know that our congregation grows because of our mother prayer group. Mothers are never lazy, they always partic-ipate in different activities in the church. We wish all mothers a good health and happiness.
