SOMETHING FOR EVERY MEMBER OF THE FAMILYWe can all benefit from setting aside a little time for sharing experiences that turn into lifelong memories. No matter
your age or your gender, your likes or dislikes, we can all appreciate slowing down our busy lives to take in a sunset
over a serene mountain lake. It makes no difference if your children are in pre-school or if they have children of their
own now, we can all benefit from opportunities for exploration, play, and learning.
Here at Frost Valley, we believe that everyone deserves opportunities for bonding with the people who mean most
to them. This is why we invite you and your family to join us on our 5,500 acres in the Catskills. Come hike our many
trails, enjoy scenic views such as High Falls, take a canoe out with your children on Lake Cole, or test your courage on
our high ropes elements like the zipline. These are the moments that turn a simple weekend away in the mountains
into traditions that last for generations to come.
Join us in the autumn, when the foliage is at its peak and activities include making apple cider, painting pumpkins, and
going on hayrides. Visit in the winter for cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, ice fishing, or simply warming up by the
fireplace with a good book and cup of hot cocoa. The springtime is perfect for exploring the wildflowers along our
trails, stargazing at our observatory, or sharing songs and stories around the campfire. Even adults can go back to
summer camp during our Family Camp in late August, a chance to swim in the lake, practice your archery skills, or go
horseback riding.
Although the seasons may change, the children may be getting bigger, the family spreading out, the job getting
busier, we all deserve not just time away, but time together. Frost Valley is where families come to grow closer, build
traditions, and make new memories. We can’t wait for your family to join us here in the Valley.
Sincerely, The Group and Family Retreats Staff at Frost Valley YMCA
