DESCRIPTION
The 'family tree' of Prophets and Messengers, starting from Adam. It shows the genealogy, or the inter-relatedness, of the Prophets. Viewers would be particularly shocked to find that Moses, Jesus, and Mohammad had shared roots. Note: The Islamic Prophet Syuib (Shoaib) is thought to be Jethro (English equivalent) but research shows that Shoaib and Jethro are not necessarily the same men. Note: when tracing David's lineage, 'Uwaid may refer to Obed, Isya to Jesse, Ufiz to Boaz. But there is some conflict there.Note: this chart or table was made from an original one which had the names of Prophets and Messengers written in Arabic-English, meaning that the name 'Musa' in Arabic was used to refer to Moses. I just erased 'Musa' and replaced it with Moses. This is what I did for whatever names I could find the English equivalent for.Note: I saw somewhere that Prophet Muhammad confirmed his lineage back to 'Adnan', but he said going further than Adnan is not good. So nevertheless, take this table as a visual representation, not as a fully researched work.TRANSCRIPT
