La maison The house

J’y habite depuis ma naissance/depuis dix ans. Il y a six pièces. au sous-sol au rez de chaussée à l’étage au premier/deuxième étage l’entrée le salon la salle de séjour la salle à manger la chambre les toilettes la cuisine la salle de bains la salle de jeux le bureau la cave le grenier l’escalier le garage le jardin le balcon le toit la porte la fenêtre la porte-fenêtre La salle à manger est à côté de la cuisine. La salle de bains est en face de ma chambre.

I’ve been living there since I was born/for ten years. The bathroom is opposite my bedroom.

Dans la chambre, il y a un lit, une table de chevet, un réveil, une armoire, un bureau… Dans la cuisine, il y a un four, un frigidaire, un congélateur, un lave-vaisselle, un évier, un placard… Dans la salle à manger, il y a une table, des chaises… Dans la salle de séjour, il y un fauteuil, un canapé, un lecteur de CD/DVD, une télévision (grand écran)…

In the bedroom, there are a bed, a bedside table, an alarm clock, a wardrobe, a desk… In the kitchen, there are an oven, a fridge, a freezer, a dishwasher, a sink, a cupboard… In the dining room, there are a table, chairs… In the living room, there are an armchair, a sofa, a CD/DVD player, a (widescreen) TV…

Ta chambre Your bedroom Décris ta chambre. Ma chambre est minuscule/ petite/grande/immense. Je trouve ma chambre (trop) claire/sombre/propre/sale/ en désordre... Les murs sont peints en bleu. Il y a du papier peint. Dans ma chambre, il y a un lit, un bureau, une armoire… Sur mon bureau, il y a une lampe, un ordinateur… Sur l’étagère, il y a ma collection de nounours. Sur les murs, il y a des posters, des tableaux, des photos… Je n’ai pas de télévision dans ma chambre parce que… Je partage ma chambre avec…

Describe your bedroom. My bedroom is tiny/small/ big/huge. I find my bedroom (too) light/dull/clean/dirty/ untidy… The walls are painted blue. There is wallpaper. In my bedroom, there are a bed, a desk, a wardrobe… On my desk, there are a lamp, a computer… On the shelf, there’s my teddy-bear collection. On the walls, there are posters, paintings, photos… I don’t have a TV in my bedroom because… I share my bedroom with…

Les activités Activities En été, on peut s’asseoir sur la terrasse/le balcon. En hiver, on peut faire des bonhommes de neige dans le jardin. Au printemps, j’aide mon père à faire le jardinage. Dans la cuisine, je fais la vaisselle, je fais la cuisine et je remplis le lave-vaisselle. Dans ma chambre, je fais mon lit, je passe l’aspirateur et je range mes affaires. Dans la salle de bains, je me brosse les dents, je me douche et je fais la lessive. Dans le garage, je fais du bricolage et je lave la voiture. Dans le jardin, j’arrose les plantes et je tonds la pelouse.

In summer time, we can sit on the terrace/the balcony. In winter time, we can make snowmen in the garden. In spring time, I help my father do the gardening. In the kitchen, I do the washing up, I do the cooking and I load the dishwasher. In my bedroom, I make my bed, I vacuum clean and I tidy away my things. In the bathroom, I brush my teeth, I shower and I do the washing. In the garage, I do DIY and I was the car. In the garden, I water the plants and I mow the lawn.

Opinions Opinions L’avantage, c’est que… L’inconvénient, c’est qu’il y a trop de/pas assez de… Ce que j’aime le plus dans ma maison, c’est… Si je pouvais changer quelque chose, ce serait les rideaux.
