FAMILY WELLNESS TIPS These are challenging times and almost everything about our life looks different. Our implicit rules for how to engage have drastically shifted, and as a result, parenting can be increasingly stressful. Included in these Family Wellness Tips are whole family suggestions and examples for re-regulating, as well as suggestions and examples for adult caregivers. Check back bi- weekly for new tips and resources. Due to the current pandemic, families are under more stress than usual. Parents are working from home, kids are participating in distant learning, and there seems to be no time in between. To alleviate some of this stress try scheduling a family de-stressing period into your day. Taking the time to sit down as a family for the purpose of de-stressing can lead to a happier, healthier quarantine for all members of your household. To unwind, you and your family can do a family art project, watch and complete a family meditation video, or go for a walk around your block.
