  • Michelangelos Significant ContributionsMichelangelo was known for painting the roof of the Sistine Chapel in Rome. This process took him four years to complete.   • Another Significant Contribution of MichelangeloMichelangelo was commissioned to do a tomb for the Pope in Rome, Italy by Julius II in 1503.
