Famous black & white photographer.
ANSEL ADAMS.
This man is Ansel Adams!
He was born in San Francisco, California on February 20th, 1902.
• Growing up he was an only child, and he had natural shyness.
• He taught himself how to play piano, but then he adapted a love for photography
• He was in love with nature (main subject).
• He wanted to give off a “Mystique” look in his photographs.
One of many photographs of Ansel Adams. “The Tetons and the Snake River” Grand Teton National Park, Wyoming, 1942
I really like this picture because it compliments nature, and the mountains look beautiful.
“Clearing Winter Storm” Yosemite National Park, California, around 1937
This picture is cool to look at, you notice different things each time. It gives off a mysterious look, just like how he wanted.
Waterfall, Northern Cascades, Washington, 1960
I like this picture because it’s of a waterfall and who doesn’t like waterfalls right? I like how he got the texture of the water coming down and stuff.
From Wawona Tunnel, Winter, Yosemite, around 1935
I like this photo because it’s in a different perspective and how the icicles at the top of the cave like come down from the top it’s nice
Sea Anemones, Shore Detail, Bodega Head, California, 1969
I really like this picture because it shows the detail in the sea anemones and in theshore. Its creative too, I don’t think I’ve seen a picture like this before..
Fern Spring, Dusk, Yosemite Valley, about 1961
I like this picture because it’s another picture of a waterfall. But its multiple.I think it would take a lot of tries to get this picture just right. This one also gives offa mystique kind of look.
Upper Yosemite Fall, Yosemite Valley, circa 1960
Another picture of waterfalls. I like how it just flows straight down and thatcute little pine tree in the front. Kind of relaxing
Wow this picture is soooo relaxing. I think this might be my favorite pictureI love oceans and cliffs and beaches and waves and wow
Untitled, about 1960
The Golden Gate before the Bridge, San Francisco, about 1932
I like this picture because it’s a little bit of history behind it. It shows whatThe golden gate looked like before the bridge. and just the way he got thefluffiness of the clouds in the sky.
Stream, Sea, Clouds, Rodeo Lagoon, Marin County, California, 1962
I like this picture because the detail in the water and the clouds is just amazing
