The garden was named after Cliff Kershaw ,the Chief Health Inspector during the development of the old landfill area.
It was opened to the public on 18th September 1988 by Harry Butler.
It consists of paved paths, rest areas and drinking fountains. The Kershaw Gardens are open to walkers 24 hours a day.
