introduction to the FANE international volunteer board
members' wishes and cooperation ideas for FLO and its member organizations
What kind of support would Fairtrade Action Network need from FLO? (1)
FLO and its member organizations could advertise FANE through media and their contacts, publications, etc
FLO could encourage its member organizations to participate in FANE
FLO could let their employees know about the existence of FANE and tools for campaigning and networking offered by FANE
What kind of support would Fairtrade Action Network need from FLO? (2)
FLO and its member organizations could stimulate the discussions at the fairtradeaction.net forum
and participate in them
FLO could encourage their members to present the work they have done on volunteer management, campaigning and
networking at fairtradeaction.net
What kind of support would Fairtrade Action Network need from FLO? (3)
FLO and its members could offer training to FANE volunteers, opportunities for internships and participation in
the events it organizes
FLO could provide financial support for the implementation of projects coordinated by FANE members
In the future, what could be the role of FLO in Fairtrade Action Network? (1)
“I guess this depends on the collaboration dynamic between FLO and FANE members”
“it would be good to organize a member inquiry about FANE members’ ideas for future action (both nationally and
internationally), then we could ask for specific assistance from FLO and its members and partners”
In the future, what could be the role of FLO in Fairtrade Action Network? (2)
“depends on FLO's aims regarding the building-upa volunteer network”
“in FANE there are also members from organizations that are not directly linked to the “Fairtrade family”, but are
campaigning against social and environmental trade injustices – how do FLO and its member organizations feel
about that?”
