Eiffel TowerThe type of building this is considered is a Monument Tower. It was exhibition in 1889 in celebration of the French

Revolution in 1789 and was used as a Radio Tower.The architect name is Gustave Eiffel. It was built June 6, 1884 and the style is Victorian

Expressionists. It is located in Paris, France and is made of metal.Fun Fact: The Eiffel Tower was about to at one point be torn

down because it was not considered “art” in then 1800’s.Historical Fact: It was equipped with the first ever radio

transmission technology and after the French Revolution became a major tourist attraction.

I selected this building because it is famous and well-known.

Notre Dame Cathedral (Paris) The type of building this is considered is a Church.The function of this building is to hold mass and praise the

lord.The architect of this building is Maurice de Sully.This church was built between 1163 and 1250.The style is considered gothic. It is located and Paris, France and is a Catholic church.The materials used to build it were cement, wood, and stain

glass.Historical Fact: It is one of the first gothic churches.Fun Fact: The hunchback of Notre Dame climbed this

church. I selected this building because I am catholic.

It was built in 1954 and the style is modern. It is located in mountains of Western Pennsylvania.The cultural group is American.The materials used to build this house are stone, wood, glass,

and copper.Historical Facts: The home was built for the owners of the

Hagan Ice Cream Company.Fun Fact: A section of the Berlin wall is on the 79 acre farmland. I selected this building because it is in Pennsylvania, where I

live.
