The newest of the SPILA programs are the EDS 103, English Language Proficiency Program, the Quality Learning Track, Culture Awareness Program, Understanding BPO and the SBU-requested Team Leader Track 2. How are EDS 101, 102 and 103 connected and different from each other? EDS 101, 102 and 103 are training programs that address the competency models for the Executive, Manager, Supervisor and Team Members. EDS 101 are foundation courses, EDS 102 reviews and applies in a coaching skills training the methods and tools from 101 and EDS 103 further hones these skills via self- directed and on-the-job-application of learnings. 3. What do I use for the enrollment of my SBU/Support group? You will be using the following for the enrollment: Database for enrollment SBU slot assignments List of SPILA courses costs Individual Application Form Summary of SBU application SBU directives for enrollment 4. Who enrolls where? Employee enrollment to a SPILA program will depend on whether the course is a part of the defined development plan for his position/level under his specific business unit or department. 2. How are EDS 101, 102 and 103 connected and

5. What are the procedures for

enrollment?Using the data and forms given to you, request approval from your Operations Directors/Managers of the list of enrollees for 2005 learning.

Using the dBase and based on superior recommendations, identify enrollees for any of the SPILA courses by putting a check mark on the list.

Once approved, have all the participants fill-up the application form and submit to you

Collect and complete all the application forms and fill up the summary of application per SBU/group

Submit to SPILA for processing and evaluation

6. What are the next steps after submission of forms to

SPILA.SPILA evaluates application and approves applicationSPILA finalizes and releases batching and schedulesSPILA distributes info, binders, etc. to participantsSPILA orients participants per programSPILA coordinates skeds and informs participants

7. How were the number of slots assigned?

Slot assignments are based on SPILA resource and/or faculty. We made sure that there is equitable distribution of slots per business unit. It is best to stick to your number of slots. You may exceed the specified allotment but notify SPILA. SPILA will coordinate for excesses or availability of slots.

8. Who are eligible to enroll to the

English Proficiency Program and on what basis?Any regular SPI employee who have gone through the English Assessment last year and is approved by the superior can enroll to the English Classes. Language Audit results are with the training coordinators and based on the BUPLAS level, a certain training course is recommended.

9. What is the Quality Learning Track all about?

The Quality Learning track has three certification tracks: Quality Basics, CI Expert and Six Sigma. Quality is open to all, CI Expert is open primarily to CIT members and Six Sigma to those involved in the Six Sigma efforts of SPI.

10. How do I use the SBU

participants’ training list?During enrollment, the list will tell you who who among your employees has gone through a certain training. On the right corner, check the training to be taken by an employee for this year. Get total and check for the slots available per SBU.

11. What happens to those EDS participants who

have not completed all their series courses?Special classes, eLearning or cLearning, will have to be arranged for them so they complete their series. They have to wait for further details and announcements.
