Disco fever in the 1970s brought glitter, bell-bottom pants, sparkling clothes, etc. On the other hand, women were fond of A- line skirts, tweed, platform shoes and Annie Hall menswear look. Gucci and Ralph Lauren were the main designers.

In the 1980s we have a big emerge of pop music fashion, acid washed jeans, big hair, balloon skirts, ballerina flats, leggings, big sweaters. The colours were very bright, neon and bold. The silhouette was bulky top and skinny bottom, usually with shoulder pads and tight jeans.

90s

Beverly Hills TV series and the grunge era of Kurt Cobain summed up the fashion of the 1990s. Women were wearing baggy, comfortable, flannel shirts combined with Dr. Marten’s shoes on one side and feminine dresses and shorts skirts on the other.

1991 – Collapse of the Soviet Union and the end of the Cold War

1994 – Kurt Cobain (die) and the grunge era (end)
