When Fashion Week of Rochester was started the intent was to make this a friendly event that could be enjoyed by all types of people not just the wealthy. This is reflected in our ticket prices as well as our venue choices each year. We feel like there is an event for everyone no matter income level or background.
Most fashion weeks are exclusive and impossible for the general public to attend. Seats in NYC Fashion Week are reserved for designers and celebrities and society ladies with huge net worth.
Fashion week of Rochester is the exact opposite.
Although it is a glamorous, exciting, and an amazingly inspiring event it is something that the whole community can enjoy. It is because of this vibe that we feel we have been so successful.
ABOUT FASHION WEEK OF ROCHESTER
All ticket sales and donations for Fashion Week of Rochester are donated to The Center for Youth.
The Center for Youth is an organization for young people seeking to deal with, explore, or understand issues of importance to them—from their perspective, and on their terms
Started by kids for kids, all Center services—from counseling, to shelter, to education, to referrals—are rooted in, and delivered with the knowledge that youth want to, and can, take responsibility for their life choices.
All programs are free, confidential, voluntary, accessible, respectful, and delivered with no restrictions as to race, faith, disability, or ability to pay.
