Grocery shopping is a hassle - The shopping takes few hours per week and remember just last time you went to a supermarket how long it took you find parking, to gather all goods, then stand in the cash desk line. For busy people it’s actually a nightmare as with their 9-18 routine they have to find time for shopping few times per week. And on top of this there is the problem of impulsive shopping as 60%+ people report they usually buy 25-30% more when they go to shopping. On top of all this people are facing difficulties on making the list of products they need or might need because they do not track their consumption of grocery and do not know whether they need to buy e.g. sugar or milk today or not.

Challenge

Personalized grocery shoping do-it-for-me solution based on AI designed to help people not only deliver groceries to their doorstep but help them forget about the purchasing process. Almost 80% of grocery consumption of household is pretty predictable for households, that’s why Cartly is aiming not to be just a delivery business, but help people forget about their grocery shopping through its smart Artificial Intelligence algorythms.

Well we met 1.5years ago during an incubation program. All of us were doing different things. Then we decided to team up as the grocery shopping was a hassle for all of us as well and not only buying goods from stores but also knowing what we should buy, or maybe the sugar at our home will be finished in 2 days so we need to take care of etc. We decided to build and ship a small landing page to see what people think and in a week we saw that almost 20 out of 180 visits have clicked on "Order" button which actually was even non-functional.

Story

An interactive and easy to use mobile app which disrupts the grocery shopping experience. So the customer just picks goods, delivery time and we deliver the goods to their doorstep. To make the UX and the ordering process easier for this stage in new version we have new features like "favorites", recent baskets" so as they could order more easily. Besides that our smart AI learns through time their consumption behavior and just sends them the "built basket" with the necessary products they will be going to buy in the next 1-2 days (based on our data analysis) and the customer just needs to approve or just do some small modifications.

In todays day every artist has to run after the labels to get them publish, they have to surrender their rights, settle for low royalty and if the artist is not famous then the artist need to pay a high amount as well.Deliver My Tune has eliminated all of these things, we give the same service to all the artist, give 100% rights and controls, 90% royalty and the fee is as low as $20. We also provide ISRC and UPC codes which are the most essential codes required for Digital Music Distribution. In India Deliver My Tune is the only company which has got the authority to provide ISRC code to individual artist after Indian Music Industry and we do not take more than 1 min to allot it.

Deliver My Tune is India's first aggregator based website for digital music distribution. So, we at Deliver My Tune help the artist to upload their original compositions on 10+ stores such as Gaana, iTunes,Google Play, Saavn, WynkMusic (Nigeria) etc and also give them 100% rights and control to their composition, not only this we provide 90% of the royalty to artist.The best part is all these things without a contract, the artist is free to come and free to go at any part of the time. Our aim is to create a music industry which is equal to all, a place where artists are judged by their talent, not by their bank balance.

This company is not a result of some money minded people who came together and decided to start a company in order to get a hell lot of money from the artists.This company is a result of PERSONAL EXPERIENCES.This started when I used to go for my guitar lessons, where I and my guitar teacher recorded some songs and compressed them into an album. It was very special for both of us as it was our FIRST album and we wanted to release it.

There is no local plant where circuit board scrap can be broken down and have all of the metal types separated out and refined and at low cost and done in a clean way.Furthermore anywhere even close is too high of cost to just get out some of the metals and they burn the plastic off. Even industrial scale places overseas, while they are low cost, they are a bit inefficient in the metals separation and their practices are not as clean. Plus, other smelters/refineries only pay after processing, which can be up to 6 months!

Challenge

Ethos will process circuit board scrap to separate, recover and refine the metals and plastic, using high efficiency "green" technology, producing high purity metal bars, which are sold to metal buyers.

During college, Derek took up a job at an e-waste recycling warehouse moving up from disassembly to front end sales in a mostly condemned old WW2 tank ball bearing warehouse, crushing cockroaches that would come out of the draws and stored printers with a power supply assembly while making sales calls. (got most of them in a few months). While revamping the sales department at the e-waste recycling company, there was now large volumes of circuit board scrap from the disassembly operations to sell. Derek realized we weren't getting anywhere close to the intrinsinc value and found out of how underserved the market was.

Story

Ethos new plant will provide a local/regional place where suppliers can send their circuit board scrap and receive the highest value in the world, in addition to upfront payment, while also having full confidence in the operation being clean and industry certified.The impact will be that a substantial portion of the 80% of circuit board scrap ($5BB+) being shipped overseas and much of what is done in the US will be sent to our plant at capacity, where we will produce multiple pounds and tons of Au, Ag, Pl, Pd, Rh, Cu, Ni, Al, Zn, Pb & FR4;The carbon offset from our recycling is over 10x / pound, in addition to water saved from pollution. We also aim to use solar and wind to power all of our operations.

Nika with a graphic design background and Sandro - sound engineer were classmates for 8 years long. On 16-17 January in 2016 Nika and Sandro participated in an Art-Hackathon,. They had to create an original decoration for the bar in 36 hours. The source of inspiration for them became a simple video-tutorial from YouTube. It is important to highlight the fact that this idea from the video tutorial has transformed into a useful and innovative device –Holo.

The owner Phanice has worked in the corporate event management business since 2006, offering events management services to medical association scientific conferences, medical camps and monthly educational meetings. She also worked with a corporate event company In-Sync Kenya and a training company, Quantum Kenya marketing event offerings to attendees, exhibitors and sponsors. Currently the main offerings of Iris Management are: Soft Skills Management and Health Festival. It is the wish of the founder to remain a debt-free establishment. At the same time they have a very busy lifestyle with little time to focus their attention on their pet’s preferences, health trends and habits; and follow a reactive approach that relies on veterinarians to cure illness/disease of pets. When we interviewed 200 cat owners in different countries, we found out that many of them lack proper tools to understand needs of their cats and they would like get access to tailored information about own cats without the need to turn to veterinarian. 89% of interviewed cat owners said that they would like to know what their cats are doing when they stay alone at home. So we at Moggie decided to change the way in which cat owners take care of their beloved cats.

Moggie started when one of our co-founders - Nataliya - moved to Sweden with her cat. She faced lots of questions in the new country - how to treat her cat, when to turn to veterinarian, how to find hosts, how to know what the cat is doing when she was travelling - and these questions were difficult to answer in the new environment. She tried to find device to help her answer questions and stay connected to the cat despite distances, but failed as there is nothing in the market tailored for cats. That is how the idea was born. Nataliya and Anton who used to work together in one of Rotary International programs started developing the idea from Sweden.
