AMERICAN ELDERBERRY Large, spreading, multi-stemmed shrub with large, flat-topped white flowers in June - July followed by purple-black berries. Can be used for jellies, pies and wine. AMERICAN REDBUD A small flat topped tree, producing pink/purple blooms on bare stems in early spring. Foliage is large and heart shaped, changing to yellow in fall. 1Yr. seedlings 12-18 inches. 6 per package, $8.00 per package.

RIVER BIRCH Native birch to the river bottoms, but does well in many soils. Reddish brown exfoliating bark. Resistant to bronze birch borer. Seedlings 12-18 inches. 6 per package, $8.00 per package.

RED OSIER DOGWOOD Large shrub dogwood with bright red stems showing off well in winter snow. Berries are white to gray at maturity, preferred as a wildlife food by bluebirds and game birds. 2Yr. Seedlings 12-18 inches. 6 per package, $8.00 per package.

RED OAK Native tree growing 60 to 70 feet with equal spread. Leaves hang on long into fall and early winter. A good yard tree because of its fast growth and tolerance for harsh conditions like road salt and ozone. Also a valuable timber tree. 2Yr. Seedlings 12-18 inches. 6 per package, $8.00 per package.

WHITE FLOWERING DOGWOOD Native to northeastern U.S. Grows to 40 feet. Dense foliage turns scarlet in fall with dense red berry clusters. Cluster of white flowers bloom in late May. Should be planted in well-drained soil. 2-Yr. Seedlings 12-18 inches. 6 per package, $8.00 per package

PAW PAW (potted) Paw Paw trees are native to the eastern and southern US. Trees grow to 25 feet and produce an edible fruit 2 inches wide and 10 inches long, looking and tasting much like a banana. Can grow both in full sun and shade. 2 or more trees needed for cross pollination. These are grown in pots, 1 to 2 feet 1 tree (potted) for $8.00.

RED CEDAR Dense pyramidal evergreen growing 40 to 50 feet. Grows well in all conditions. Fast dense growth makes it good for a hedge or screen. 2Yr. Seedlings 10-18 inches. 8 per package, $8.00 per package.

EASTERN WHITE PINE Fast growing to 100 feet. A fine needled pine with soft light green/blue 4 inch needles. Grows in a wide range of conditions from dry and rocky to wet and swampy. Excellent ornamental and forms a dense screen. 3Yr. Seedlings 10-18 inches. 8 per package, $8.00 per package.

HEMLOCK (potted) Often acclaimed as the most beautiful of evergreens. Grows to 70 feet with a spread of 35 feet in the open. Can be pruned to maintain a hedge. Short, soft yellow/green needles in spring changing to glossy green needles. Grows best in moist, organic well drained sites, will not tolerate wind or drought. Will tolerate shade. These are grown in pots, 1 to 2 feet. 1 tree (potted) for $8.00.

APPLE – CRIMSON TOPAZ Crimson Topaz is a promising new disease resistant dessert apple. The fruit is medium in size, crisp and juicy with good flavor. It has a 50% orange-red striping color over a yellow background. The growth habit is spur-like, vigorous and upright. Crimson Topaz is a good cropper and the fruit does not drop. Resistant to apple scab and moderately resistant to mildew. Matures mid-Sept. Excellent wildlife tree.1/2 to 5/8 inches in diameter, 4-6 feet tall. 1/$12.00

APPLE – MACOUN Dessert-type apple exhibiting similar characteristics to McIntosh. Macoun is recognized in the Northeast for its high quality. Flesh is white, firm and juicy. A high demand item for the roadside market and pick-your-own trade. Tree is upright in habit requiring aggressive thinning to maintain annual cropping. Matures mid-Sept. 1/2 to 5/8 inches in diameter, 4-6 feet tall. 1/$12.00

APPLE – JONAMAC Attractive, high quality McIntosh-type dessert apple that is medium in size, with 90% dark red color. Fruit is firm and crisp, ripening just ahead of McIntosh. Tree is medium sized, very productive, and an annual bearer. Matures mid-Aug. 1/2 to 5/8 inches in diameter, 4-6 feet tall. 1/$12.00

APPLE – QUERINA Developed at INRA Angers, France, Querina is scab resistant and moderately resistant to mildew. Parentage includes Golden Delicious and Jonathan, among others. The fruit is firm and juicy with a sweet-tart flavor and it develops solid red color. Querina harvests mid October and will keep for up to 2-3 months in regular storage. Tree is vigorous and somewhat upright. Excellent wildlife tree. 1/2 to 5/8 inches in diameter, 4-6 feet tall. 1/$12.00

CHERRY – BENTON A late ripening, dark red sweet cherry. The fruit is very firm, large, and has excellent quality. Regina has shown good resistance to fruit cracking. It is considered self fertile. 5/8 to 3/4 inches in diameter, 4-5 feet tall. 1/$12.00

PEACH – MADISON This variety is one of the most winter hardy varieties available. The fruit is medium to large, uniform in size and of exceptional quality. Madison is recommended for northern climates where peaches are sensitive to low winter temperatures. Ripens 26th of August. ½ to 5/8 inches in diameter, 4-6 feet tall. 1/$12.00

APRICOT – HAROGEM Medium sized fruit, bright red glossy blush over orange background. Flesh is orange, firm and freestone with good flavor. Tree is upright, productive and very cold hardy.
