hand In hand Registration for the 2013-14 school year at Hand in Hand Christian Preschool, located at our East Campus, has begun. For more information visit handinhand-preschool.com.

kIngdom roCk this year’s VBS, will take place at the West Campus June 24-28, from 9:00 am-12 pm. Sign up to serve in the lower level at the West Campus, or by emailing Chris Sarros at [email protected]. Preschool VBS and child care is provided for children whose parents serve.

BIBle studY fellowshIp (Bsf) meets every Monday night from 6:50 to 8:45 p.m and is intended for all levels of Bible knowledge. Starting in September, they will be studying Matthew. To ensure a place in next fall’s study join us as we wrap up our current study of Genesis on May 6 or 13 at 6:50 p.m. in the East Campus Sanctuary.

saturdaY mornIng men’s BIBle studY meets at 7:30 a.m. in West Campus Room 103. Join us for Bible study, coffee, and Christian fellowship.

men’s praYer group meets to pray Tuesday mornings, 6:00-7:00 a.m. in room 204, East Campus. We pray for our families, pastors, staff, church mission trips and youth events, our country’s leaders, etc. Come join us!

women’s BIBle studY is offering a summer study by Margaret Feinberg, “Wonderstruck: Awaken to the Nearness of God,” to begin on Wednesday, May 15, 6:30-8:00 p.m., at the East Campus Student Center. trek summer Challenge trIp Registration is now available for our bi-annual Houseboat Trip, July 28 - August 2, to Bulls Shoals Lake, Arkansas. This trip is for incoming 9th - 12th graders. Cost is $495 and registration materials are available in TREK and also online at fbcg.com.

Jr. hIgh summer adVenture trIp : To kick off the summer, Souled Out students, incoming 7th and 8th graders, are going on an Adventure Weekend to Expeditions Unlimited in Baraboo, Wisconsin! Students leave June 14 and return June 17. The trip cost is $210. Sign up before June 2 for $195. Informational fliers are available in Souled Out and online at fbcg.com.

food drIVe The Senior High Class is hosting a food drive the weekend of May 4-5th to restock our food pantry. Please place your donated items behind your car during church services. Items will be picked up during all services. For a list of items, please see fbcg.com.

gIVIng enVelopes Beginning this year we will be mailing giving envelopes to your home every two months. If you have not received any but would like to in the future, please sign up at the Welcome Center in the lobby where you can also pick up some generic giving envelopes to use until the next mailing arrives.

senIors If you are at least 70 ½ years of age, did you know you can make a charitable deduction to FBCG directly from your IRA, have it count toward your required withdrawals from your IRA and save taxes even if you don’t itemize? BuIlt to last invites you to hear our Director of Children’s Ministry, Chris Sarros, present “Spiritual Formation of Children” on May 19 and Jun. 2. Built to Last is for young married couples in their 20s-30s, whether newly married or starting a family. The group meets at 10:45 a.m. in West Campus Room 103.

mIssIonarY of the week: Gideon & Funmi Para -Mallam, IFES (Intervarsity), Nigeria; Director of IFES over 24 nations in Africa. Pray for strength, wisdom, and health as Gideon works with national leaders encouraging their ministries. The battle for the soul of Africa is assuming a new dangerous dimension. Pray that the IFES workers will engage in this spiritual warfare on their knees and act with uncommon courage in standing and declaring GOD’s truth.

roYal famIlY kIds support camp through Feets of Strength 5k Run/Walk for Child Abuse Awareness Saturday, May 11 events includes a 5k Run/Walk, a Youth Mile Run, a Little Feets Dash, live music, free massages, and much more!
