Foundation Contractors, Inc. was founded in 1983 by Mr. Warren E. Quarles in Marietta, Georgia.

The company began operating a broad range of services including foundations, cast-in-place walls, slab-on-grade and tilt-up construction throughout the Metro-Atlanta region.

Today, we are headquartered out of Marietta, Georgia and are recognized as a leader in tilt-up construction, acknowledged for its quality, efficiency, leadership and professionalism. Over the years, FCI has expanded its operations over the Eastern and Southeastern regions of the United States and Puerto Rico. Mr. Quarles continues to serve as CEO and President of Foundation Contractors, Inc. and is supported by a Team of the most qualified and experienced professionals in our industry.

ONE OF THE NATIONS TOP WHOLESALE DISTRIBUTORS HAD THE NEED FOR CONSTRUCTION OF A NEW REGIONAL DISTRIBUTION DEPOT IN SOUTH FLORIDA.THIS 225,000 SQUARE FOOT FACILITY INCLUDED 116 DOCK LEVEL PITS THAT WERE INCLUDED IN FOUNDATION CONTRACTORS SCOPE OF WORK FOR THIS TILT UP BUILDING.

MPC OFFICE BUILDINGS

THE ORIGINAL SPECS ON THIS PROJECT CALLED FOR RAISED DOTS TO BE CONSTRUCTED IN THE EXTERIOR FINISHIING SYSTEM. FCI REDUCED THE COST TO THE GENERAL CONTRACTOR BY UTILIZING A DONUT SHAPED FORM TO CAST THE IMAGE IN THE CONCRETE WITHOUT INCURRING THE EXPENSE OF HIRING AN ADDITIONAL SUBCONTRACTOR. THE ARCHITECTS GREAT CHOICE OF COLORS AND UNIQUE ENTRANCE DESIGN PRODUCED AN EYE CATCHING STRUCTURE.

AMTEC SPEC BUILDINGS

This global wide innovative medical supply company chose Integra Construction Co. as its General Contractor. Foundation Contractors was then selected by Integra to be the turn-key concrete subcontractor in the construction of the new United States headquarters. This 24,000 square foot architectural office building is adjacent to the distribution warehouse.

ERBE- USA HEADQUARTERS- MARIETTA, GA.

Shelco was the General Contractor for the Savannah/ Hilton Head parking deck expansion. This project was constructed with large foundations and poured-in-place walls. Pre-castDouble tees were placed and Foundation Contractors then poured the topping slabs. This project was the recipient of an Award of Excellence in the Parking Deck category forThe Georgia Chapter, ACI 2007 Dan R. Brown Awards Competition. This 950,000 SQFT

project was completed in July 2007.

SAVANNAH AIRPORT PARKING EXPANSIONSAVANNAH, GA

Foundation Contractors partnered with Manhattan Development to construct this multi story retirement center in Savannah, Georgia. The project included over 390,000 square feet of elevated slabs, vertical columns/walls and slab on grade.

MARSHES OF SKIDAWAY ISLAND- SAVANNAH, GEORGIA

C.D. Moody was the General Contractor for the new parking garage at Morehouse College. This project was constructed with large foundations and poured in place walls. Pre-cast double tees were placed and Foundation Contractors then poured the topping slab as wearing surface. This project was the recipient of an Award of Excellence from The American Concrete Institute in the public works category.

MOREHOUSE COLLEGE LEADERSHIP CENTER PARKING GARAGE-ATLANTA, GA.

Foundation Contractors was awarded the opportunity by Gilbane Company to showcase our expertise for this special use facility at Emory University in Atlanta Georgia. The unique aesthetics and decorative hardscape enhances the campus appeal for this addition to one of the most prestigious universities in the country.

EMORY UNIVERSITY CONFERENCE CENTER AND PEDESTRIAN BRIDGEWALK

Foundation Contractors Inc. worked with Evans General Contractors in conjunction with DP Partners to build the 980,000SQFT Logistiport project located in Savannah, Georgia. Foundation Contractors was chosen to self perform all concrete foundations, slab on grade, tilt wall, erection and site concrete for this project. Foundation Contractors was able to achieve the schedule requirements by placing a mobile concrete plant on site in which we poured an excess of 40,000 yards of concrete in addition to 665,000SQFT of exterior paving. This assured the constant availability of material and quality control.

LOGISTIPORT- SAVANNAH, GA

FCI was awarded the Belle Marias project on Daniel Island in South Carolina with Developer-G.C. Greystar. This project consisted of 18 elevated post tension slabs, 18 slab on grades and poured in place columns. There was also a 10,000SQFT clubhouse and pool side cabana. Foundation Contractors poured approximately 13,000 cubic yards of concrete on this project.
