FCM Dynamic Bending test machine and TCMTorsion Test machine have been designed forsmart cards post production quality control.These machines can be used in manual, step-by-step or automatic mode. A backward cycle

counter enables automatic switch off at theend of the programmed sequence. Mechanicalstress is applied on the cards in accordancewith ISO 7816/1 standard. Cycle period conforms to the ISO standard: 1 cycle/2s.

FCM - BENDING MACHINE

This equipment applies horizontal and verticalbending stress to the tested cards. The cards areplaced between 2 sets of guide rails:

• 5 cards in vertical position in the front guide rails• 8 cards in horizontal position in the back guide

rails

The upper guide rail oscillates due to the action ofan actuator against the lower fixed rail, thus bending the cards.

TCM - TORSION MACHINE

This equipment applies right and left longitudinal torsion stresses. The cards are placed in the vertical position in the grooves of 2 guide rails.

The upper guide rail oscillates horizontally due toan actuator acting upon the lower fixed rail, thusapplying a torsion to the cards.
