GLA Case StudyAt the last GLA election FDM workedwith 24 London boroughs to providetheir print and postal requirements.

The situation presented opportunitiesto simplify project delivery throughshared experience, as well as challenges arising from the scale of the operation. A universal approachto make efficiencies was deemed asensible approach, but any solution tobe implemented needed consensusof opinion.

FDM were able to coordinate opendiscussions and develop proposalsthat would achieve consistencyacross the boroughs involved. Recommendations included standardising poll card wording and postal vote instructions to gainprinting economies of scale, whilst alternative artwork remained available to meet an individual boroughs needs.

In this way, FDM were able to provide a collaborative solution thatmet the project and performance requirements of 24 boroughs and enable them to deliver on their ownobjectives.
