Specification Report to accompany the Estimate for " FDR to road from km 86.057 to 133.922 of NH-565 in (R&B) NH Division,Vijayawada.

The NH 565 is starting from Nakrekal on NH 565 connecting Nalgonda, Nagarjunasagar, Marchella and Y'Palem. This road is an important NH connecting interior areas. This stretch is sanctioned to Rehabilitation and upgradition of NH 565to two lanes with parelell shoulders in the state of A.P. through EPC basis (Under NHDP -IV). The agency has not started the work nd the work is in termination stage.

Due to heavy traffic and heavy rains the existing carriage way is badly sunken and deep pot holes are formed. It is causing more inconvenience to vehicular traffic. It is very essential to take up the patch repairs, jungle clearence and low shoulders immeditely for free flow of traffic. Hence, it is necessiated to prepare the estimate with the following provisions.

Providing and applying primer coat with bitumen emulsion on prepared surface of granular Base including clearing of road surface and spraying primer at the rate of 0.60 kg/sqm using mechanical means.

Bitumen primer has been provided @ 0.60 kg per sqm as per clause 502.8. Payment shall be made with adjustment, plus or minus, for the variation between this quantity and the actual quantity approved by the Engineer after the preliminary trials referred to in clause No. 502.4.3.

Providing and applying tack coat with bitumen emulsion using emulsion pressure distributor at the rate of 0.20 kg per sqm on the prepared bituminous/granular surface cleaned with mechanical broom.
