TopLink Website

How do I access the TopLink website?

Only members and constituents engaged in a Forum community or project, as well as registered and invited participants at a Forum event, can access the platform. Whenever you engage with the Forum in one of these activities an account will be created for you on TopLink and you will be sent a personalized onboarding link to set up your username and password. On subsequent visits, go to https://toplink.weforum.org and log in using your username (in the form of an email address) and your password.

How do I reset my TopLink password?

Go to the following page to reset your password: https://toplink.weforum.org/user/password. You will need to enter your username, one of your email addresses, Twitter handle or one of your phone numbers and, if a match is found, a password reset link will be sent to your registered email address.

Can I change my username?

You have the possibility to set up your username (an email address) the first time you use TopLink during the initial onboarding. If you would like to subsequently change it, you can do so by emailing toplinksupport@weforum.org.

How do I add a secondary contact address on my TopLink account, e.g. my personal assistant?

You can add a secondary contact address to your account either during the initial onboarding or by editing your personal profile at toplink.weforum.org/user (additional contact email).This email address can then be used to retrieve/reset your password (see above).

Where can I find information about the event I am participating in?

All current events you are participating in will be listed on your TopLink home page. You can review the participants list, programme and all the event documents in the event’s library. To access past events, browse the Events section.

How can I manage my private session invitations?

On the top right side of the Event Overview page you will find an area marked “Participation”. Click on the “Manage your session invitations” link here.

I am speaking at a session. Where can I find additional information and connect with the other speakers?

When viewing the details of a session on TopLink, speakers have access to an additional private activity space to view the session structure prepared in collaboration with the Forum session responsible and join an associated discussion feed to connect with fellow speakers.

Where can I download the app?

Go to https://toplink.weforum.org/apps on your device and you will be automatically redirected to the relevant app store. The Event app is available on Windows 8 tablets, Windows phone, Android tablets and phones, iPad and iPhone. For other platforms, while there may be no native app to download, TopLink online supports all mobile browsers on all platforms.

How do I log in to the app?

You can log in with the same username and password as for TopLink Website. When you log in the app will automatically connect you to the next upcoming event you are registered to. NB: If you are connected to a past event, it means your registration to a future event has not yet been processed.

How do I update my profile on the app?

Your profile and privacy settings on the app are shared with TopLink Website. Updating the text of your profile is currently not available on the app, but is available on the Website version. You can do this from your profile page on TopLink https://toplink.weforum.org/user. You can, however, use the app to update your privacy settings – choosing which (if any) of your contact details are displayed to other participants at the event.

Can I sync my device calendar with the personal agenda in the app?

You can sync your device calendar with the app agenda by tapping on More>Settings> and “sync my agenda with the device calendar.” NB: You can also set up “push” notifications for changes to sessions in your agenda (change of time/location) in the settings section.

Can my support staff access the app?

The World Economic Forum provides access to the app for support staff via a passcode login which is available one week before the meeting. The passcode grants access to core event information, but personal features such as messaging and agenda are not available. If you would like to know the passcode for a particular event to share with your support staff, please contact toplinksupport@weforum.org.

How can I access information from past Forum events I have participated in via the app?

Tap on More>Settings> and tap on the name of the current event – the past events you have attended will be displayed. Tap on the one you want to access.

What is the Kiosk and how do I use it?

The Kiosks are located around the event venue and offer the same functions as the TopLink event app on a large multi-touch display. Login is via your event security badge – no need to remember your username and password. Kiosks are connected to printers. Kiosks are only available at Annual Meetings.
