    M. Seth Reines - Director Seth is delighted to return to The Little Theatre for his 12Ih season as Artistic Director. He has directed over 350 productions for stage and television, including national tours of Sunday In The Park With George and South Pacific, working with such stars as

    Angela Lansbury, Chita Rivera, Tom Wopat, Leslie Uggams, Peter Allen, Jerry Herman and Oprah. Seth staged the American revivals of Knickerbocker Holiday and The Red Mill, and the Chicago premiere of Closer Than Ever, the outdoor premiere of Phantom and the American premiere of Anne of Green Gables. He is one of the creators of the original musical Monky Business which has now played in over 75 cities

    around the world. Seth is thrilled to be working with two of his favorite performers, long-time friends, Michael and Jill, on this cel- ebration of life and love. May they bring as much joy into your lives as they have into his.

    Michael is happy to be back in Sullivan for I Do! I Do!. Patrons of The Little Theatre will remember Michael from his last summer's performances of Captain Von Trapp in The Sound Of Music,

    chek in She Loves Me, Don Quixote in Man aMancha and Vince Fontaine in Grease. Over

    t , Michael has performed in West Side Story at Drury Lane Theatre in Chicago, and Beauty and the Beast, The Nutcracker and Snow White, also for the award winning children's theatre at Drury Lane. Michael wants to welcome you back to The Little Theatre, and thank you for supporting live theatre in this great community. Guide our feet into the way of peace.

    Jill feels so blessed to be back on the square and honored to be working again with Michael Haws and Seth Reines. You may have seen her this past summer as Sister Amnesia in Nunsense, Antonia in Man of LaMancha, Sandy in Grease, or her Herald Award Winning performance as Ilona Ritter

    in She Loves Me. Other favorite roles include Celeste II in the first national tour of Sunday In The Park With George, Sally Bowles in Cabaret, The Bakers' Wife in Into The Woods, Poppy in Noises Off, and Helena in A Midsummer Night's Dream. Miss Roberts wants to thank her dear friends and family for all of the support from the big sky country to the big apple. "Happy Love Day!"

  • Artistic Staff Jean Norton - Musical Director Jean is delighted to collaborate with this company on her first production with The Little Theatre On The Square. Her regional works include Broome Street To Broadway, West Palm Beach, FL, My One And Only, Bristol Riverside, PA, West Side Story, Killington Playhouse, VT and Pirates of Penzance, Clinton, IA. Prior to her move to Iowa, Jean lived in New York City, where she coached artists from such Broadway shows as Miss Saigon, My One And Only and Sunset Boulevard. She has musi- cal directed over 45 shows, including original vocal arrangements in such shows as Baggy Pants, The Boy Who Cried Elvis, and Buffalo Gals. A United Church of Christ minister, Jean is particularly moved by music in rit- ual and healing.

    Gregory Hiatt - Costume Designer Mr. Hiatt comes to The Little Theatre On The Square from Circa '21 Dinner Playhouse where he holds the position of Resident Costume Designer. Over the past six years, he has worked with Seth Reines on several pro- jects at Circa '21 (most recently Miracle on 34th Street), and is pleased to have the opportunity to now work in Sullivan. Favorite designs for the Circa '21 stage include My Three Angels, Forever Plaid, Joseph ... and the national tours of A Closer Walk with Patsy Cline and Cowgirls. Elsewhere around the Midwest, Greg has designed for Shawnee Summer Theatre, S.J. Payne's Showcase, St. Ambrose University and Bearcreek Farms Little Theatre.

    Michael Abrams - Lighting Designer Michael comes to The Little Theatre On The Square during his hiatus as Lighting DesignerIMaster Electrician for the Off-Broadway Tour of . Cowgirls. Other design credits include 42nd Street, Damn Yankees, Crazy For You, Pump Boys And Dinettes, I Do! I Do!, Joseph And The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Phantom, Godspell, Annie Get Your Gun, Forever Plaid, Annie, Oklahoma!, Singin' In The Rain, Meet Me in St. Louis and The Taffetas as well as many plays and dance produc- tions. 'He has been out with touring companies such as Nutcracker, A Christmas Carol and Annie Get Your Gun. Just recently he has joined the production company of Norwegian Cruise Lines and has started to design on many of their ships.

    Susan L. Merrill - Stage Manager Susan is very happy to be joining The Little Theatre On The Square for the first time. Her career has mainly kept her in Philadelphia and Michigan (with a brief tour in Rotterdam, Holland). She has had the great fortune to work with such talented people as Terence McNally, David Mamet, Len Cario and Celeste Holm to name a few. Next month she is off to Trenton, NJ to Stage Manage the opera Rigeletto. She thanks her parents as well as her best friends Bobb and Charles for all their love and support.

    Jenee' is pleased to be returning, once again, to The Little Theatre On The Square as Assistant Stage ManagerIProperties Mistress. After vaca- tioning in Grand Island, NE for a month, she is ready for the excitement of Sullivan! After I Do! I Do!, she plans to move to Buffalo, NY and work until she returns for The Little Theatre's 1999 summer season.

    Michael Miller - Musician Michael, originally of Ida Grove, lowa, comes to The Little Theatre from Clinton, lowa. He has been studying music on various instruments for over 25 years. He received his Bachelor's degree in Music from the University of lowa, his Master's degree from the New England Conservatory of Music in Boston, Massachusetts and is currently at work on his Ph.D. in Performance and Composition. He is a former member of the Quad-Cities Symphony Orchestra and has been recently occupied with performing and directing music for numerous orchestras, ballet companies, musical theatres and churches throughout the Midwest and New England. He also enjoys cooking, gardening, reading and swim- ming.
