The Raiders’ bench looks on with anticipation asHinsdale’s Lukas Johnson puts up a three point shot
against Dodson on Friday night. And it’s GOOD!
The Raiders took care of the Coyotes 63-20 in
District 3C conference action to boost their record to
15-1 (undefeated in conference play), their only loss
occurring in their rst game of the season as Highwood
edged them 49-47. The Raiders have rippled the nets
for 978 points (61.1 points per game) while giving up just
539 points (33.7 ppg). Those numbers could easily be
more lopsided, but Coach Mitch Capdeville does a great
job in getting his entire bench some quality minutesThe Raiders will be in Scobey (6-4 in conference, 9-7
overall) this Friday and again the following weekend
as the Spartans play host to the District 3C Boys’ and
Girls’ Basketball Tournaments slated for February 19-
21. The Raider boys are without a doubt the favorite to
win the district title. Other teams competing in Scobey
are Dodson, Frazer, Lustre Christian, Nashua, Saco-
Whitewater (boys) and the Saco-Whitewater-Hinsdale
girls who are the heavy favorites to blaze their way to
the Eastern C Divisional Tournament.
