The law practice focuses on landlord/tenant law, fair housing issues, residential and commercial real estate transactions, and collections. David Johnson is the North Central Regional Sales Manager for Atlantic Paste & Glue Inc. (Catchmaster), where his territory spans over 15 Midwest states. David specialized in business studies at Chaffy College in Alta Loma, CA and Columbus Community College in Columbus, OH. He has been dedicated to the pest management industry since 1981, starting as a pest technician in Chicago.

John Kane is the Division Entomologist & Technical Director for Orkin in the Midwest. His role is to keep Orkin’s pest management teams at the forefront in knowledge and methodology, to problem solve and train

in the field, and to provide high-level scientific support, particularly to heavily regulated industries. His background includes a bachelor’s degree in biology from UC San Diego, a master’s in entomology

from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign sub-specializing in medical and veterinary entomology, and 15 years of field experience. John is board certified by the Entomological Society of America in Urban

and Industrial Entomology.

Dr. Jamie Kopco holds a B.Sc. in entomology from Cornell University and a Ph.D. in entomology from North Dakota State University. He currently works for Guardian Pest Solutions, where he is building a

robust employee training program and providing technical support for tricky pest problems.

Sara Knilans has been with Bell Laboratories, Inc. for fifteen years. Sara was responsible for training all new Bell sales representatives, Bell plant tours, and was the Mole Product Coordinator for Talpirid. She returned in 2014 and is now the Midwest Regional Manager. Sara has a BS from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She has extensive rodent control experience, having conducted hundreds of trouble account inspections, supporting the industry, learning, and sharing experiences during Rodent Pest Management educational events.

Patrick (PJ) Liesch is an Extension entomologist and has been the director of the UW-Madison Insect Diagnostic Lab since 2014. He is a regular guest on Wisconsin Public Radio, a speaker for the

Master Gardener and Pesticide Applicator Training programs, and an instructor for the UW Farm and Industry Short Course program. PJ can also be found tweeting about insects as @WiBugGuy.

Michael Murray is the Pesticide Program Manager with the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection. He manages programs for the certification and licensing of pesticide

applicators and commercial businesses, and licensing of restricted-use pesticide dealers, including overall strategic pesticide program planning and administration. Mike coordinates inspections and enforcement actions with department compliance staff and provides information on pesticide use policies. Partnering

with the University of Wisconsin Pesticide Applicator Training Program, he helps develop relevant training materials and certification exams for agricultural and non-agricultural pesticide use.

Shane McCoy has been in the structural pest management field for 24 years, the first 12 with the U.S. Air Force where he compled an associate’s degree in environmental controls. He finished his bachelor’s degree in workforce education and development at Southern Illinois University and a master’s in entomology at the University of Nebraska. In 2007, Shane joined Wil-Kil Pest Control as Technical Training Director, providing training, technical support, and leadership to all 175 team members. Shane is a past chair for the Copesan Technical Committee, entomologists across North America who develop treatment strategies, support partner and client relationships, and provide up-to-date information materials.

Cam Renn of Univar received his B.S. in environmental policy and analysis with a minor in urban entomology from Bowling Green State University. He has worked in the structural pest management and vector management industries for over 25 years as a pest control technician, technical director, technical sales specialist, and public health industry specialist. Cam is a board-certified entomologist and chaired the Education Committee for the Michigan and Ohio Pest Management Associations for a combined 15 years. He has been a speaker at pest and mosquito management training seminars throughout the Midwest and Northeast and at the University of Kentucky Pest Control Short Course.

Jay Koritzinsky is the senior member of Koritzinsky & Karls, LLC, in Madison, WI. The law practice focuses on landlord/tenant law, fair housing issues, residential and commercial real estate transactions, and collections. Jay received his undergraduate degree with honors from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and was a 1980 graduate of the University of Wisconsin Law School. He has done extensive lecturing throughout the state on landlord/tenant issues, fair housing laws, and collection matters. Jay is a member of the Dane County Bar Association and the State Bar of Wisconsin.

David Johnson is the North Central Regional Sales Manager for Atlantic Paste & Glue Inc. (Catchmaster), where his territory spans over 15 Midwest states. David specialized in business studies at Chaffy College in Alta Loma, CA and Columbus Community College in Columbus, OH. He has been dedicated to the pest management industry since 1981, starting as a pest technician in Chicago.

John Kane is the Division Entomologist & Technical Director for Orkin in the Midwest. His role is to keep Orkin’s pest management teams at the forefront in knowledge and methodology, to problem solve and train

in the field, and to provide high-level scientific support, particularly to heavily regulated industries. His background includes a bachelor’s degree in biology from UC San Diego, a master’s in entomology

from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign sub-specializing in medical and veterinary entomology, and 15 years of field experience. John is board certified by the Entomological Society of America in Urban

and Industrial Entomology.

Dr. Jamie Kopco holds a B.Sc. in entomology from Cornell University and a Ph.D. in entomology from North Dakota State University. He currently works for Guardian Pest Solutions, where he is building a

robust employee training program and providing technical support for tricky pest problems.

Sara Knilans has been with Bell Laboratories, Inc. for fifteen years. Sara was responsible for training all new Bell sales representatives, Bell plant tours, and was the Mole Product Coordinator for Talpirid. She returned in 2014 and is now the Midwest Regional Manager. Sara has a BS from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She has extensive rodent control experience, having conducted hundreds of trouble account inspections, supporting the industry, learning, and sharing experiences during Rodent Pest Management educational events.

Patrick (PJ) Liesch is an Extension entomologist and has been the director of the UW-Madison Insect Diagnostic Lab since 2014. He is a regular guest on Wisconsin Public Radio, a speaker for the

Master Gardener and Pesticide Applicator Training programs, and an instructor for the UW Farm and Industry Short Course program. PJ can also be found tweeting about insects as @WiBugGuy.

Michael Murray is the Pesticide Program Manager with the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection. He manages programs for the certification and licensing of pesticide

applicators and commercial businesses, and licensing of restricted-use pesticide dealers, including overall strategic pesticide program planning and administration. Mike coordinates inspections and enforcement actions with department compliance staff and provides information on pesticide use policies. Partnering

with the University of Wisconsin Pesticide Applicator Training Program, he helps develop relevant training materials and certification exams for agricultural and non-agricultural pesticide use.

Shane McCoy has been in the structural pest management field for 24 years, the first 12 with the U.S. Air Force where he compled an associate’s degree in environmental controls. He finished his bachelor’s degree in workforce education and development at Southern Illinois University and a master’s in entomology at the University of Nebraska. In 2007, Shane joined Wil-Kil Pest Control as Technical Training Director, providing training, technical support, and leadership to all 175 team members. Shane is a past chair for the Copesan Technical Committee, entomologists across North America who develop treatment strategies, support partner and client relationships, and provide up-to-date information materials.

Cam Renn of Univar received his B.S. in environmental policy and analysis with a minor in urban entomology from Bowling Green State University. He has worked in the structural pest management and vector management industries for over 25 years as a pest control technician, technical director, technical sales specialist, and public health industry specialist. Cam is a board-certified entomologist and chaired the Education Committee for the Michigan and Ohio Pest Management Associations for a combined 15 years. He has been a speaker at pest and mosquito management training seminars throughout the Midwest and Northeast and at the University of Kentucky Pest Control Short Course.
