Singing Valentine at Octorara Senior High School  On February 14, 2012, the students and teachers at the Octorara

Senior High School were treated to some very special performances of a “Singing Valentine”. The performing group consisted of eight malesingers, known as “Bravely A Cappella”. “Bravely…” meets Mr.William Johnson every Tuesday, after school, and learns 3-4 part acappella songs for tenors and basses.

This year they decided to “market” a singing valentine for the students andstaff members at their senior high school. For $3.00, students, teachers, andother staff members could have a special song performed for their“sweetheart”, during the class of their choice. The song was “1-2-3-4”, asrecorded by Plain White T’s.

Nearly 40 students, teachers, and administrators “bought into the idea”. Themoney collected was distributed evenly among the singers.
