FEBRUARY 2014

Dear Friends,

February at PBS39 certainly offers

something to satisfy every viewer. Just

take a look at the program descriptions

inside and you’ll see what I mean.

While Downton Abbey concludes this

month, fans will be excited to hear the

show is returning for a fifth season in

January 2015.

Speaking of Downton Abbey, we hosted

another successful premiere party on

January 4th. More than 100 fans came to

the fundraiser that featured delicious

food, live music, a silent auction, and a

screening of the first episode from

season 4. I was so impressed by the

outpouring of support for PBS39 — and

the period costumes donned by so many

of our guests!

As I know we have so many fans of BBC

programming, you’ll want to mark down

the premiere of Doc Martin season 6 on

February 20th.

Locally, our high school Scholastic

Scrimmage teams are impressing

viewers with their vast knowledge of

facts from Brahms to Bunsen burners,

and FOCUS, our news magazine show,

continues to showcase the people,

places, and issues that matter to you.

Be sure to tune in to PBS39 this month.

You will not be disappointed!

Regards,

Timothy S. Fallon

CEO, PBS39
