A s the Holiday season came to a close we took several residents out to see the Christmas lights around town. One of the parks in Maoon really does a great light show. Several of the residents took an hour long ride to go visit the Reindeer Ranch in Rantoul. They were able to see the reindeer, pet them and feed them. It was a wonderful day. We have a great community that never forgets our residents here at Carriage Crossing. The VA came out and did a Christmas Party for our veterans and gave them all a gi and hat. Entertainment is always happening in our building. The Line Dancers came and shared several dances and Rudolf even visited. The student council from the Arcola High School came and sang to the residents as well. They even brought cookies to share. Aer exercise in the morning Dana spent me talking with the residents about Dreams. She shared facts about dreams, residents shared dreams they have had both now and as children. They looked at books about Dreams as well. Looking forward to February acvies……Family night on the 11th and we will celebrate Oscar/ Hollywood theme. Celebrate Valenne’s Day and sharing about love. Music and more music from groups and friends. A special Vintage Pickers group coming in to share about anques and appraise any anques we have. Also, working on some winter cras.
