DAMPA’S Second Open Mic Night White Rock Coffee House hosted our second Open Mic Night on January 29th. Everyone was amazing and it was great to see new students perform!

Goals and Dreams Workshop
DAMPA partnered with ivivva for a “Goals and Dreams Workshop”. Our own Mr. Dari Hayes and ivivva representatives taught a self confidence class. 20 girls that
attended received a 20% off Ivivva gift certificate and a free certificate for an acting class at DAMPA.
New Music FunTime Class
We are super excited to begin our new Music FunTime classes! This class is an exciting and fun introduction to music and music theory for our youngest DAMPA students and will lay the foundation for a lifetime of music learning! Celebrating Student Achievement - The Musical Ladder System
Adam B. receives his Apprentice Award
Dallas Academy of Music & Performing Arts is the only music schools in the metroplex that gives their students the opportunity to earn special color wristband bracelets (kids and teens love them!), trophies AND certificates for passing musical tests with the Musical Ladder System. Do other schools offer trophies and certificates? A few. But none of them inspire their students with smiling faces by giving them full color, really cool “Musical Ladder System®” wristbands that they can show off to their friends. More important than being really cool, with the Music Ladder System, when a test is coming up, our students practice more, parents are proud, teachers are proud - It’s a WIN for everyone!
