BLAISDELL'S SPONSORS SJND‘BLUE AND ORANGE BOWL’ CRAB FEEDTouchdown, Pilots! Blaisdell's sponsored Saint Joseph Notre Dame High School's 39th annual crab feed and auction which raised over $135,000 for the school, including $34,000 towards the paddle raise.

Money generated from the event will go towards several of the school's programs and provide some agile furniture for a flexible learning space in Marianist Hall.

Participants in their program spent the day enjoying each others company over lunch, music, dancing, and other Valentine's Day-themed activities.

BLAISDELL'S EMPLOYEE LEADS DONATION DRIVE IN SAN JOSEThis past February Blaisdell's employee, Harold Yamada, organized a clothing drive for Sacred Heart Community Service, collecting over 60 bags of children, women, and men’s clothing.

It didn't stop there! He then volunteered with members of SCV Japanese Christian Church to pack over 180 food and toiletry kits for homeless individuals in Silicon Valley.

BLAISDELL'S ADDS NEW, HOT BEVERAGE DISPENSERS TO COFFEE BREWER PROGRAMIn February, Blaisdell's began beta testing several new coffee and specialty brewer systems in our own breakroom to obtain employee feedback, increase variety, and affirm quality of the new additions.

Among the new brewing systems includes Keurig's latest K4000, Flavia Creation 500, and Cafection Encore 29. All models offer different ways to brew up coffee in addition to tea, lattes, cappuccinos, and even mochas. The Cafection brewer even grounds beans per cup for the freshest cup of joe available!
