Just a Thought

A critic is one who knows the way but can’t drive the car

Our journey is slowly reaching its end. This Sunday

is the last Sunday of the message from Ordinary

People and we will be learning about another

ordinary person in the Bible. This journey has taken

us from people who were called by Jesus to become

greater than themselves to others who saved entire

nations with God’s incredible transformation of their

lives.

This next Sunday in our series, we will continue

learning of how God transforms ordinary people into

doing extraordinary things through the story of David.

As this journey took us from Peter and John,

foundations in the early church, Esther, who saved

her people, and Zaphenath-Paneah who interpreted

dreams to help his family and the Egyptian people

survive drought, we will find ourselves engulfed in the

tale of David, the small boy who took down a giant

A Journey to Hope

Sunday, April 16 at the 10:30 worship services by the Chancel Choir and special guests. You are invited to join us as we celebrate the resurrection of our Savior, Jesus Christ! The Chancel Choir rehearses Wednesdays from 7:00-8:15 pm in the choir room. This will be the time you can just join to learn and help with the Easter Celebration Music. Join us throughout the season of Lent every Thursday at 7pm and with Class Menagerie Sunday morning during the Sunday school hour. We will be going through this Lenten study of Creed by Adam Hamilton.

In this book for Lent, Easter, and beyond, Hamilton considers important questions of life, reality, and truth. He explores not only what Christians believe, but also why they believe it and why it matters.
