Temple Beth Abraham's mission is to provide our congregants with opportunities to create meaningful connections to
God, Torah, the Jewish People and the surrounding Community.
We remember, with love, the Six Million whose lives were taken during the Holocaust.
We also remember, with love, those who were taken from our midst this week in years past and
commemorate the anniversaries of their passing.

Vote in the World Zionist Congress Elections -Now Through March 11
Now is your chance to have your voice heard in Israel and make a difference
in Israeli society. This is our chance to combat the discrimination the Reform,
Conservative, and Reconstructing Judaism Movements face in Israel. Each and
every vote from our congregation is crucial to maintaining a strong presence
for all streams of liberal Judaism. Together we can work towards making
progress on issues we care about : religious freedom, equality, diversity, and
peace with dignity and security.
In order to vote in the WZO elections:
1. You must consider yourself Jewish
2. You must be 18 years of age or older.
3. You must be a resident of the United States
4. The cost to vote is $7.50

Our building project is moving forward, albeit at a slower pace than we anticipated. We are scheduled to appear before the Tarrytown Planning Board on February 24. We have had several meetings and conference calls with our architects, professional engineers, and legal advisers to resolve as many issues as possible prior to this meeting. It is our expectation that we will begin construction this Spring and that the project should be completed in approximately 9 months. Religious services and Temple programs will continue throughout. And of course no construction will take place during Shabbat or on the High Holydays. We will announce a date for an informational meeting to review our plans for this project and a Q&A will follow.
For information about how to get involved or to make a gift, contact the Roy Solomon at [email protected] or call Stuart Skolnick at the Temple.

"A powerful, moving novel of faith, love and acceptance."

without warning, everything tragically implodes. After years

insular, ultraorthodox enclave of Boro Park, Brooklyn.” There, Lola will
face choices that will ultimately decide her fate.
